Only 9 games?? There's so many to choose! May go back and do this again for each genre that I play.

Anyways, video game-wise? i've been playing a lot of BF6 and Deadlock. plus a bunch of other miscellaneous games like Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced (which I really need to finish) and I've been trying out the games from this year's SAGE.

anyways hi hello. round 3 or four... or five of trying to be active on social media again. tbh I've been great, actually, just prioritizing other things since I have less time to do things bc of work. also, i kinda realize i do not understand social media.

Thinking about how I watched Moonlight half a decade after it's release and how it changed my life. We as a society moved on from that film much too quickly (we know why) but I'm here to remind you that It Exists and you should watch it, either for the first time if you haven't already, or again.

SENDRIN for the "Tragic Backstories" comm series. He is so handsome, was a blast to draw his beard. Friend of mine kept referring to him as "hot dark elf dracula hysterectomy daddy" so lol. He is mythic an tragic and @holliism.bsky.social does great work with him🙏 #art #illustration #oc #dnd

A handsome, well built elf with dusky lavender skin and long black, grey-streaked hair stands noble before a background of twilight skies and the gothic tracery of a cathedral-like arch. He has a well kept trim beard and moustache, pointed ears, and is undressed to the waist, wearing only dark leather pants, boots, and a bit of gold jewelry. In his left hand, he holds the decapitated head of another elven man, dripping gore. In his right, a cruel, jagged ritual knife. Blood runs down from his own lower abdomen, a horizontal slit across his lower belly, between his hips. In the cathedral carvings, lost trapped souls beg him for mercy. His name, "Sendrin", is on a cloth banner at the bottom of the page.

Once again urging folks to not use "pride wrath" as an excuse to talk over Disability Pride. We get talked over enough even in our own communities. Many disabled folks like myself are queer too, and it sucks seeing one part of myself get talked down or ignored all the time even in "inclusive" spaces

I've been so video game brained lately but I will perservere. Maybe i can start drawing again,,, maybe. Real shit tho i think i just need adhd meds. The amount of stimulation I need these days has been unreal- Its actually why I rarely draw anymore because its incredibly understimulating for me

Anyways I've been back to playing older games between the new games currently in my rotation and I'm replaying the Legend of Spyro series again after a little over a decade. Also Spyro Shadow Legacy since I never actually finished the game.

Happy Pride, fuck the police, prisons shouldn’t exist, borders are stupid, wars are even stupider, resisting colonial violence with violence is resistance. Queer people are the most revolutionary out of all peoples. #pride #illustration #art #queer

An illustration of a pride protest. Queer people of all skin colors, ethnicities and body types run from left to right. The person in the middle, with olive colored skin and white hair buzzed short, tattoos and big pink boots is carrying the progress flag and wearing a keffyeh. The black woman beside them, wearing purple jeans and a red bralette, with hair in braids, is speaking into a megaphone and yet another white person beside them with top surgery scars is holding a sign with the words “the first pride was a riot” on it. There’s also a drag queen, with a big pink wig and dress, a woman wearing a hijab, a black woman on a wheelchair, a man with cochlear implants with his raised fist in the air, and many more people. Lots of them are holding bricks and high heeled shoes.

I would encourage other artists to fill in the feedback form about this section of the new rule. I love you art fight, please walk this back.

5. Bases, character creators, and dollmakers may be used for character images, but must be credited. They may not be used for attacks.

a. This includes websites like Picrew, HeroForge, video game character creators, and other doll makers.
b. This includes artwork traced from poseable 3D models (such as Clip Studio Paint, Design Doll, and similar programs), self-made bases, and photographs you have taken.

Please take out the rule that disallows use of photo references and 3D models to help create illustrations. This is a perfectly normal step to creating drawings and paintings, just like sketching. I've been a full time professional artist since 2009, and taking my own reference photos is an enormous part of how I create my work. In recent years, being able to use 3D models like those in clip studio pain are also a huge help. Art fight is a big part of the art community. I would put to you that art fight needs to rise above the misguided notion that using these vital resources is an incorrect way of making original art.

The idea of banning bases, picrew and other such secondary sources from being used in attacks makes sense, but restricting the use of an artist’s own method for streamlining their creative process is completely asinine to me and likely many others. I personally don’t see the harm. (3/)

@artfight.net please consider changing this rule. Tons of artists (beginners, professionals and all in between) rely on 3D models and photos to create artwork with accurate proportions in a short time frame. Art fight encourages a consistent stream of artwork that benefits from these resources. (1/)

The fact that you think it’s a good idea to ban an essential part of many users’ creative process is entirely unfair and perpetuates the idea that using one’s own photography or poses = cheating, which is not only inaccurate, but a toxic standard for artists upheld by elitists. (2/)

The "self-made bases" part is just ridiculous. Generally speaking, banning the use of 3D models (like CSP, Design Doll, etc.) as a reference is just dumb. Lots of professionals use 3D models to make their workflow smoother and faster, not to mention the shortcuts manga artists use.
