I know it's impossible as a normal person to completely disentangle yourself from Amazon's tentacles, but I don't understand how at this point any actor, writer, or filmmaker can take a penny from Amazon Studios. Surely there are still (a few) other less evil options?

Hey, @nytimes.com any words for your Canadian readers concerned by you publishing a column arguing in favour of the annexation of our country?
New York Times opinion headline: 'O Canada, Come Join Us' by Ross Douthat, published January 11, 2025 at 7:00 am ETI offer these bona fides, proofs of a current of maple syrup running through my children’s veins, as a preface to a controversial claim: that Donald Trump’s kidding-or-is-he suggestion that Canada belongs inside our union is not a threat but an opportunity, that Canada might be better off joined to our continental Republic, with the wintry 1775 defeat of Richard Montgomery and Benedict Arnold finally reversed.
