Taking away Curiosity's test rover has cascading impacts on operations for both active Mars rovers, that have not been sufficiently studied before committing to this weird and ideologically driven decision. Primarily that if certain anomalies happen, there will be no way to test solutions.

NASA may send an engineering copy of a Mars rover to the Moon, but at what price?

Reminder that despite the incredible success and longevity of Curiosity, NASA now plans to take away its Earth-based test rover, and then spend $300M (10 years of Curiosity operating budget) to cobble together a moon rover out of its old parts, for an undefined science mission.

Fun photoshoot last night of us loading GS2 onto Pegasus for the first time. This stage is heading to the Stennis Space Center is Mississippi to be tested on the B2 test stand. That stand was historically used for Saturn V, The Space Shuttle, Delta IV, and the SLS rockets.

Very random personal thought here but can I just say the current Roller Coaster War is absolutely incredible? Like don't get me wrong the era of building faster, bigger, and taller coasters was cool and we got some great rides, but my god has the recent wave of creative new rides been amazing
