Put these exact same circumstance’s, results and resources but under a different manager and I doubt there’d be the same amount of leniency that’s still being given. Most of our recent past managers would’ve loved to have been able to write off parts of the season after being backed. #dcfcfans

Started better. Played better. But over an hour against 10 men without a breakthrough is a worry. Injuries are constantly being blamed but injuries aren’t the reason the manager plays a centre-back at right-back. Using our ‘tough’ start as mitigation is also straw clutching. #dcfcfans

Fair reflection of the game in the end. Always felt they had another gear should they need it, although it was risky at only 1-0. That said, we didn't test the keeper at all, so it didn't look like it was going to come back to haunt them. Good to see Ozoh back. #dcfcfans

Stats resemble more of a Paul Warne side in the Champ, albeit with a much weaker squad with little investment, rather than a much more experienced boss at the level with significant backing. It feels as if he’s been untouchable up-to now. Too right it’s been coming. #dcfcfans

Previously the reasons being given - or more accurately the narrative being spun - was that it was the previous staffs coaching methods, running them too hard in pre-season etc to blame for injuries. They’ve changed the coaching, fitness and medical staff since… #dcfcfans
