Yes there’s a hook that attaches to the posts on the tube that fits into the ring. It goes through the PA and makes withdrawal impossible.

I clean it in the shower while it’s still on. I don’t find taking it off to be necessary. Even in my tightest devices (Evotion Orion), I can still work a pinky in there to distribute soap. I am circumcised though and that makes a huge difference.
