These are cool and very similar to the work of the person I'm looking for. I feel like I need to make it clear I'm not looking to hire a designer, I am looking for a specific set of posts detailing a method to accomplish one specific task, that a friend of mine is struggling with.

I can't remember their username at all unfortunately A lot of the work I saw was just grey resin, until they finished the tiki mugs (then they were wooden style / texture). I believe they use Blender to sculpt them. The puppets may? be marionettes or used in stop-motion, not sure if I saw any "done"

Wow, that's some top-class work. I am specifically trying to go back and reference some of their posts for a friend who is having trouble making joints for resin 3D prints in Blender, and having some sizing issues that have already been mathed out for them if I can find it.

I should have tagged you! I am very grateful for the experience I had designing this & all the connections it has lead to. You tagging Aaron lead to so much. I learned about about clay tiles, I taught 3D stuff, we discussed the forces it will take to cut the parts and collaborated on it. Etc etc!

It's been a while since I shared any art here. The latest one that I'm proud of was inspired by @zsorryon.bsky.social and his own personal artwork is the focal point. This isn't a real place, but it's based on a real place. The people call out... Luigi? #Blender3d #3dArt

I might need to pick up some clay and do some testing. 650 units is quite a few for a prototype 😅 Might be a good idea to get 2 or 3 made. I don't think they'll be prohibitively expensive per part. I'll keep an eye on my email.

Those are dimensions for the inner area, the area of the tile? What does the cutting edge look like? Is it quite thin? I'm considering where the 'other' material will go during the cutting action. There are some considerations to make in thickness and print orientation to affect strength

I am hearing that some others are having issues with the platform, but nobody said anything like this. Looking for anyone who still uses threads who has a simialr issue to make me feel calmer and that perhaps my 2ish years of history there was not just deleted en masse

Rundown of events: Threads felt glitchy, i reloaded my profile, and my recent posts did not load - only older ones. I reloaded again, even older posts were at the top. Then I got logged out. I logged in, kicked out. Changed my PW, kicked out. Changed my email, pw, 2fa, etc, and I'm not being kicked

One time with Koodo up in Canada I dialed into my voicemail and was instead connected to some random people's phone call, so that was kind of annoying but amplified 3x due to the other 2 parties.
