Why does bluesky compress upscaled pixel art so badly. It puts a bunch of weird smudges on it. Even Twitter keeps pixel art clean.

My take on young Kris and Asriel's sprites using their silhouettes from Chapter 5. #deltarune I wasn't sure what to do for Asriel's outfit (since it's oddly shaped like Ralsei's and I don't think he'd wear what Ralsei wears) so I just made his jacket flare out at the bottom.

As for the new game project, I will be sharing specifics about it as I make more substantial progress. I want to be more open about development on the game (rather than being secretive like I have for past projects), so you will see something about the game within the next month.

Worst case scenario: if I don't end up finishing the fully complete version, I'll publish the school version instead.

I am planning on picking the animation back up at a later date. There is still a "finished" version I submitted for school but it is not at the level of completion I'd want it to be for a public release.

This project will not be releasing by winter of this year as I was hoping. I assumed I would be working on this throughout the summer (which I have not). Instead, I have been working on fleshing out the story of the Barry game and working on a completely new smaller game project.

More expressions of my Ralsei dialogue sprite retake. Most of the faces are almost exactly the same, only having slight changes since I wanted to keep the same feel of the original sprites. Most notable change is the smiling open mouth sprite. #deltarune

There's art I wanna make for V2's anniversary but I'm super busy with another project until after Wednesday so I'll have to wait till then to start working on that.

Content updates are still on hold for now BUT, I am LOOKING FORWARD to working on new stuff for the mod again. I have goals and projects I wanna make before we come back but I've still got ideas for Spooky Mix cooking up in my brain that you all will see one day.

I used to look back on V2 a lot more critically than I did V1. Definitely had to do with the stress of the last two days before release and the fact that I didn't get to experience the mod's release the moment it dropped alongside everyone else unlike I did with V1 (my own fault)

I was so clocked out of Spooky Mix after V2 released, I barely looked at the reactions from people in the comments and quotes of the release post on Twitter until now. Made me happy to see how excited everyone was to finally be able to play the update themselves.

It was almost two days straight of working. Literally the moment the update came out, I shut my laptop and immediately went to bed (NOT A GOOD SITUATION TO PUT YOURSELF IN). Luckily, I don't remember there being any major bugs on release so it was fine this time.
