Afternoon full of doubts turned into a great chase day. Initially a first storm of day started and looked promising, but didn’t make it. A second storm was brewing to the southwest but was struggling for almost an hour to get things done. In the end it was the right choice to stay patient. #weather

On our last chase day we intercepted a slow moving storm southwest of Felt, OK. The storm suddenly gained strength and produced this beautiful tornado near Texline,TX. It lasted almost 30 minutes. Best finale of a storm season ever. #tornado #texas
