It's Holocaust Memorial Day and Musk & his American 🇺🇸 oligarchy bros think they need to teach us Germans that the right-extremist AFD is the only party that will "save Germany" right before the election & that we should be proud of 🇩🇪 history, let go of the "remembrance cult" This makes me sick!

So many inspiring projects e.g. his collaboration with the natural history Museum in Berlin (again in German: www.museumfuernaturkunde.berlin/de/wissensch...) and other stuff on his website (m.dominik-eulberg.de) All aimed at spreading awareness for biodiversity 💚

I could listen to DOMINIK EULBERG talking about the wonders of #nature 🌍 for hours & I just discovered he has a new podcast where he does exactly that wunderkammerpodcast.de (in German) ❤ ... he's also my favorite techno DJ & an inspiration for fusing #science (he's a biologist) & art 1/2

According to today's hearing in 🇩🇪 parliament, the ministry of research & education decided to stop funding battery research 🔋 because ⏹️ the "open technology development" ideology forbids prioritizing technologies over others ⏹️ no fundamental research necessary anymore on batteries

When TIME selected me for the Time 100 Climate list this year, they asked me: What is the single most important action you think the public, or a specific company or government (other than your own), needs to take in the next year to advance the climate agenda? Here was my reply... 🧵 🔌💡

Interesting. Is the power requirement of etrucks really that high that graphite-based chemistries don't suffice? Do you know how much is the energy density difference?

Nice graph from the new Intercalation Station newsletter showing the various #battery 🔋 companies claiming ultra-fast charging below 10min Very different approaches - from material-level (silicon-, niobium-based anodes) to electrode (3D-structured) and cell design (pre-heating)
