My new water-cooled PC is finally online! 🔥 BUT still need to dye to the coolant, set up RGB and fan curves, and debating if I should virtualize Windows under KVM 🤔

Finally installed the last piece of PC watercooling loop 🔥 Now I "just" need to flush the system to get rid of gunk it might've accumulated since I started building it. After that, I'll fill it with the cooling liquid and boot up! 💪 Hopefully, no more hiccups 😅

One tiny step on a short Saturday stream done ✅ My water-cooled AI workstation is almost finished! 🤞

One evening - one more small segment in my water-cooled PC build 💪 This is a real exercise in patience! Every time I think I'll finish it, it takes way longer than expected 🙈 I like setting tiny goals though - a much easier feeling then!

We threw a b-day party for my amazing gym trainer today 🎂 So good to have a community of very supportive and health-focused peeps like these! 💪🥹

I don't regularly listen to @hubermanlab.com podcast, but this episode is worth its length. Goes over real-time social connections as the primary factor of happiness, and how our modern tech (incl. phones) is basically a major cause of the loneliness epidemic.

Used chickpea flour for this Xmas bread 🥧 It's now even healthier and rich in protein! Merry Christmas and Hannukah! 🎅🛷🎄🎁 🕎

Like most previous Xmas Eves, I’m celebrating it alone 🎄🎅 But this year, I’m trying to make the best of it! If anyone else is doing the same, let's be alone together 🍻!

Finally applied finish to my woodworking "therapy" project 😅 I challenged myself to do it by Xmas, since I procrastinated on it for longer than I can admit 🙈 It just needs to dry now, and I can bring it home 🤞

This particular episode goes into more details on how the often misunderstood "rewiring" of the brain works, from the neurological perspective, why it's so much harder than common "just do this, or think positively/rationally/etc" (unhelpful) advice ppl like to give, and what can be helpful instead.

I just listened to a brilliant episode of my favorite mental health podcast The Anxious Truth. It really helped me overcome a series of panic attacks a couple years ago. I can highly recommend this podcast to anyone suffering from anxiety and/or panic attacks. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

Baked this new super-healthy banana bread 🔥 Tbh this is my first time baking anything in many years. I was wary of extra calories, but my trainer recommended a recipe based on cottage cheese and almond flour. My mind is blown - didn't know sweets can be tasty AND healthy! 🤯 Link below 👇

Happy to share I signed a $15k contract with a new client. Moreover, this is using my new, higher consulting rate 🚀 I visualized being successful at it, and it happened. I think this really help bring success - if you believe it will happen, it's more likely to happen! 💪

Today I finally tried wood finish samplers graciously provided by Rubio Monocoat (not a promo!) I dunno why it took me so long 🙈 You can see how messy I started (to the left), and how nice Pure coat looks on pine (to the right). I think I'll go with it for my DIY NAS & PC table 💪

I don't like bragging about follower counts (and it is kinda meaningless anyway), but it's just crazy how much easier that's here than on X. X: 0 ➡️ ~800 follows in > 1 year (now down to ~700) 👎 Bsky: 0 ➡️ 1k in 2 weeks! 🚀 Yeah I know, Starter Packs. Yet, I have a feeling X might be doomed..

Single people with no family around, how do you handle major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year? I find that it wreaks mental havoc every year 😰 Not that it's hard to find people to be with, but that seemingly everyone around spends time with the loved ones 😬

Sometimes I just need to suspend disbelief and remind myself that I need to keep going, if I want change to happen. I need to do this despite all my past experiences telling me otherwise 😬

~60% done studying Full-Stack Elixir/Phoenix course 🔥 I always wanted to learn Phoenix, but have been putting it off for over a year 🤦‍♂️ This is such a GOATed, batteries-included framework, and unlike anything else out there! 🚀 Hoping to apply it to my landing page for ScreenCastPro.com soon.

It’s an interesting effect that the more attention I pay to something, the more I see it 😅 In a way, the world is a reflection of my internal views. The more negative and pessimistic I am, the more the world seems that way. And when I practice not being so negative, suddenly things improve 🫠

What we’ve been really missing on X, feature-wise: - API, to have fun with it - Links in posts - Better search (?) - Threads - Not being penalized for posting often, or mentioning competitors, or other content “undesirable” by Elon What else?
