www.theguardian.com/politics/202... A solid expected win for Labour, and a great victory for Sagal Abdi-Wali: "This is Camden and this is Britain". The Greens did OK, in spite of themselves, and the Liberal Democrats remain stuck in leafy suburbs and rural constituencies.

Look, I am not complaining, Bukayo Saka is my Fantasy Football captain. 22 points last night is much appreciated. But given his history of injuries why is Arsenal letting him slide on his knees after scoring? Hamstring (24-36%) followed by knee injuries (approx 25%) with longer recovery time.

Nige has turned up in his pantomime outfit for to vote in his own Clacton by-election. Count Binface points out that he is “bin it to win it”. As his progenitor, Buckethead, has said: “there is one absurd, parody, completely inappropriate candidate – and he is standing against Count Binface.”

Can Reform UK get their supporters to vote? Farage cannot keep hiding, but what can he say on the streets of Clacton, about anything really?

He has called for this unnecessary election, to deflect a political donation scandal. It will be held on 13 August during the summer hols. He managed to only get 46% of the vote in 2024 with a 58% turnout. The main parties are boycotting the contest, but their supporters are not.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Farage loses his deposit in the Clacton by-election? How much of his 2024 support will want to turn up at the polls? He would be buried politically. And Reform`s credibility will be shot, plus only having 4 elected MPs and 3 Tory defections. Vote Count Binface!

With all that dodgy money couldn`t Farage spend a few quid on a decent suit? Kudos to Carole Cadwalladr: she has been reporting on George Cottrell - Farage`s sugar daddy - and other far-right rich creeps for years, who continue to be a treat to democracy in the UK.
