Can some NJ guy explain why NJ Dems used water contiguity to specifically draw this portion of Berkeley township into NJ-02? Van Drew is based in Cape May, so doesn't make sense why they'd use water contiguity just to get that portion into NJ-02. Why not just go more into Lacey?

I think Abdul El-Sayed is an okay candidate purely in terms of electability. Not an electoral powerhouse like Whitmer, and also isnt an electoral anchor who would underperform the environment as much as Jay Jones did (who did have an actual scandal).

In terms of what's discussed on here, among all the seats Dems could flip, the most underdiscussed one for how close it is, is WI-01. Kamala only lost it by 5. Steil is an overperformer, but not to the degree of Fitzpatrick or Turner. Think he could go down if the Dem is good.
