Growing up surrounded with constant stress and pressure because I'm "gifted", "smart", "genius", etc. Etc. Makes me forget that... Y'know... Relaxing and taking things slowly is healthier for myself and the ones around me. I'm struggling, but I'm trying to lay back more.

To say that it has grown to feel borderline debilitating... would be selling it correctly actually. What I could brush off when live has led to me struggling to keep my composure. Even in between the streams, Hyperventilation, panic, anxiety attacks... To not speak of worse, harmful thoughts

Medication has also been a god send. Xanax was pretty underwhelming, but everything since has helped me in various ways. They've had their own side effects, but those are handled. However, these last two months have been the first time in years I haven't been medicated for anxiety...

Over time I have been finding coping mechanisms for environments and situations that spike it the most, usually music. That's why I am so invested in it and I love to find new things and listening to it, no matter if it is metal or electropop It calms me down and makes me focus solely on it.

Due to my upbringing and childhood experiences, me and anxiety are in a sort of symbiotic coexistence. I can't exist without it, and vice-versa. This has led to me not even being sure of my friends being my actual friends, be it people I know for months, or that I know since I was born (literally!)
