The people had decided to blame her family for the towns lack of food. Therefore, the family must be punished. At least that’s what they believed. Sayaka had returned home that night to a massacre. . . Her father, mother, younger brother. All gone in an instant.

With the fish being one of the main things that fed this village, the people started to grow frustrated. It wasn’t long, until they had came banging on their doors, desperate for a meal, desperate for answers. Her father had stepped out to try and ease the crowd. . . Things didn’t go to plan.

Though, it was only able to bring in a small portion of funds. Just enough to keep them afloat, not enough for food or other necessities. Her father had been trying his hardest, the poor fool hadn’t even gave up on the fish as of yet.

Things were going well, until the lake they caught their fish started to run dry of their catches. With less fish to sell meant money grew tight. In order to help, Sayaka ended up trying to find somewhere to work, she did end up working for a blacksmith.
