Hi! Life has decided that All the Things need to happen at the same time here at Charming Demon Belle Industries, which has left me with enough time to maaaybe write a paragraph each day, but new work and updates to fics are coming!

Me: FINE. I'll just take a quick shower and then go to bed. (30 minutes of singing through my jazz rep later) Husband with towel: OUT. NOW.

Just wanted to pop in and say how much I love your art. It was one of the main reasons I got into the series in the first place!

May I suggest the art juanmaomaoao over on IG? They have some deliciously haunting depictions of Alastor. Their human designs are amazing, too. www.instagram.com/p/DS90dRTiexu/

One of my stories recently surpassed 1,000 kudos. It is such an honor that a thousand people decided to spend their precious time with a story of mine and that it moved them enough to leave a little kudo. 🥹♥️

Had to get fitted out with a cardiac event monitor and now I look like a cyborg. Even the nurse who put it on me was like, "that's pretty cool." 🤣

I completely forgot I could share snippets of my #appleradio fic I'm writing for #RAAtoZ2026 on #WIPWeds. 😅 Here is a little taste of what we've got cooking.

Lucifer can’t tell who it is, but it makes the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. It’s been centuries since the cries of the damned had left him anything other than cold, which only fuels his growing sense that something is very, very wrong.

He groans as he pushes himself up from the ground. Little shocks of lightning leave trails of agony in their wake as they rush across his skin.

What the fuck happened? He remembers hauling himself out of the glass bowl-box thing that the TV-head demon had stuck him in, and that all of Pride seemed to be celebrating, even though it looked like massive swaths of the city had been reduced to rubble. Then the snake-sinner that Adam killed had been talking to them from a massive screen, only he was a Winner in Heaven now, and ho-ly shit, wasn’t that just a kick in the head? Charlie had been right all along.

Then there was a strange humming sound. Lucifer had turned his head towards it and found himself looking down the business end of a busted-up machine as it began to glow with a familiar golden-white light. There was a flash, and then the rest of his memories came in flickers.

The ozone-like smell of angelic power.

Something shoving him hard in the chest, knocking him ass-first to the ground.

The stench of burnt flesh.

The screams.

“Alastor! Oh, my God, Alastor…!”

Charlie’s shrill cry cuts through the chaos, and suddenly, Lucifer doesn’t want to know what happened anymore. He wants to go back to the safety of his workshop and his ducks and never face whatever it was that made his daughter’s voice sound like that.

Instead, he staggers to her side.

A strange, detached sort of calm settles over Lucifer as he takes in the scene. It feels like he’s looking at a piece of contemporary “high art,” the meaning of which remains just beyond his grasp, rather than a sinner writhing in a growing pool of blood.

Alastor is in a bad way.

An AU #appleradio fic where Lucifer is a cop undercover at an animal folk prison, investigating allegations of prisoner abuse. "What are you in for?" he asks Alastor. "I killed my father after he murdered my mother." He frowns. "What? That sounds like self-def—" "And then I ate him!" "...ah."
