Suuna is so cute so I drew her as an anxious adult + bonus Ruka ✨

A drawing of Suuna from the series Convenient Semi-Friend, portrayed in her 30s. She's holding her hands together and looking up with nervous expression.

There's also a lil doodle of Suuna being kissed on the cheek by an older Ruka.

Rewatching Kill-La-Kill after like a decade, and my favorite episode has not changed

Illustration of Mako Mankashoku from the Kill-La-Kill series, in her Fight Club President uniform. She's looking in the distance with a serious look on her face and covered in bruises, and her nose is bleeding. There's implied biker flags in the background

spoiler cont: And then the final episode, time skips a few months and the girl who rejected the mc, spends the rest of the runtime getting the other two back together. Which I thought the ending couple has more chemistry to begin with but what a silly way to reach that point 😅

Demidevilqueen @demidevilqueen.blacksky.app · 02/10/2026

Nope! The main character was still gay and trans to till the end. The main conflict of the series is both of her girlfriends are in love with her and her refusal to make a choice is ruining the vibes. Spoiler: she makes a choice, the happy music and montage plays, and then she gets rejected? lmao

Okay coming back to this, the last two episodes of this are so strange, lol. I'll have to check if the manga is similar, but it's really funny how the plot suddenly hits the uno reverse on like the big romantic conclusion

I don't outright hate a lot of anime, but The Water Magician is the most baffling bad thing I've ever watched and I don't understand why so many people rate it so positively 😤

Okay but in another light, that is very impressive self-sabotage and you should be given a medal for it

Ooh nice! I took a look at some scans of it yesterday, and I'm kinda surprised how well the artstyle translated to animation! Though in my bias, I think the manga art always so much prettier in the end, haha

Lmao, yeah I can see that! I'm jealous that people saw more "weird" anime in their youth, cause my interests back then was so vanilla, but there's a high chance I too would of been real dense about connecting any dots 😅

I'm watching this anime from the dark ages (2006), I haven't finished it yet, but it's really interesting to me how many older anime/manga works fall under "aliens made me trans" 💀

Demidevilqueen @demidevilqueen.blacksky.app · 29/09/2026

It's so good, right?! I didn't realize it was gonna be the kind of anime where each episode was unique even down to the animation direction, but I think that too really endeared it to me not just as a like a great yuri anime, but good art as a whole!

Had an old sketch I never finished... and oops now it's a Felicia x Petra otp

An illustration of Marvel's Black Cat(Felica) and the out of the closet Petra Parker. Felicia is sitting on an implied roof lining with Petra sitting on the ground and leaning against her. Felicia's smiling with one arm around Petra and the other playing with Petra's messy hair. Petra is pouting.

There's a text bubble from Felicia that says "Your hair isn't gonna survive if you keep wearing a mask like that, Tiger. ♥"

An illustration of Jam Kuradoberi from the Guilty Gear series, stanced up while holding her palm out, creating a swirling ball of Ki. She's got a very arrogant look on her face.

There's big bubble text in the corners, one says 'JAM' the other says 'DDQ'
