windows was running the steamvr dashboard through my cpu instead of my gpu but tbh i had half a dozen issues since then so i forgot exactly how i fixed it...

TO BE FAIR i've always assumed 50-75% of the issues were windows related, i just don't care if the issue is on windows or valve's end (hell windows is worse since valve will probably fix their end) this one def is windows, they were making steamvr use my cpu graphics instead of my gpu...

wireless steamvr has introduced so many software issues that I'm just sticking to the wire which unfortunately means there's basically no headset that is an improvement on the rift s for less than 1500

no audio over streaming video feed cutting out completely and going to chaperone mid game desktop streaming just doesn't work i got it out of the box to try again and guess what now it loses tracking on the controllers! woooow!!!!

terrible with glasses visuals and tracking about the same as my rift s terrible guardian desktop streaming doesn't work awful grip button placement no audio over streaming bad menus and ux horrible battery life

I've just come to the conclusion that wireless vr is a bust because it introduces too many points of failure software wise I like rift s. me put headset on. headset work. smile :)

My experience with the frame has been so negative I've already boxed it back up for resale and busted the rift s back out. Do not recommend even a little.

I'm just going to stick to my rift s tbh i did not find the increased fov/resolution or pancake lenses improved my experience at all. i also didn't actually feel like it being wireless improved my experience much.
