My absolute favourite musician, just seeing his face makes me smile. Thanks! 🥰

I took a long bus trip and both ways I had a great 4+ hour conversation with my seat mate. I love those interactions with strangers. You never know where the conversation will go. It gives me hope in humanity that we can still be friendly with strangers and opens me up to different points of view.

Teeny tiny origami bouquet, small and cute 😊. Trying to make the world a little happier with a little bouquet

This is mine from a couple of days ago. 🥰

We are trying to be good neighbours, not as easy as it used to be 😢

This a better option. Both are 1924. The front bumper is the only difference, one bar vs two. When he bought his John Deere tractor it came with a one bar front bumper and he had an option to upgrade it to a two bar that John Deere called “more manly”

Ok, this is his best guess right now. It has the same, front window, cowl lights by the front window, head lights, fenders, bumper. It does have different wheels and the front cowl look different.

He has looked more carefully and he doesn’t think it is a model T. He thinks it is from the early 20s because of the open body style and the wooden wheels but he can’t find a matching manufacturer.

120

Dema buzz 🇨🇦 @dema-buzz.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

My husband has a model A. He says that the fender is not a model A fender and it looks like a wooden spokes on the wheels, so he thinks it is a could be a late year model T but he is going to pass the picture on to those that might know more. BTW, here is his car.

I thought that was the BC ferry. I took one this summer to Pender Island and it was a wonderful trip. Thanks for adding the alt text 🥰

They are all kinds of marigolds. Every year I pick them (I get about a 5 gallon pails worth) and then I often add some packs of extra fancy ones too. Here is a close up of some of the fancier ones

Dema buzz 🇨🇦 @dema-buzz.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I really don’t feel like posting anything, but you are right and I need to find something. My marigolds look beautiful and they are producing lots of seeds so I can plant and share them next year and maybe next year will have more of nature’s gold

Ah no, I don’t think so on the deal front. And I think many Americans and other countries would disagree with the statement that we are the worst country to deal with.

I have a a cousin with a very similar name to yours and I am from Toronto, so every time I see a post from you I do a double take 🤪. My cousin is in Brazil now so you are obviously not my cousin, it is just my crazy brain.

I know this is really small but it really made me happy, at least for a bit. I watched the season opener of Son of Critch a great Canadian sitcom. I laughed at jokes that probably only a Canadian would laugh at and appreciated our great country. 🥰🇨🇦

The saddest part is all the immunocompromised people who would love to get the benefits of vaccination but instead are put at risk because others ‘do their own research’ or whatever other stupid excuse 😢

I made the teeniest, tiniest origami bouquet and both making it and looking at it make me so happy. Sometimes you need to find joy in the smallest things 😊

It is the Central Park neighborhood with all the street names referencing New York. At the time Trump ave went with the theme like Bloomingdale St.

I can’t see it because I’m in Canada. Did they do the Lake Ontario (Lake America) or did they just outright change it? Also what did google do?

I am going to mention it to my brother who likes historical fiction. I really felt like I was back in Dickens’ England as you were very descriptive. Thanks 😊

I used to think asphalt was pronounced all-splat. Deslexia along with learning from reading not a good combination. I once had an Californian insurance broker convinced that in Canada we had all-splat tiles on our roofs, oops

Do you mean how it goes straight south on the west and heads north on the east side? If so, it is because that is so the line matches up with the border on both sides of the lake. Canada loops around to the south side of the lake to the west. More than half the lake is Canadian.

We don’t have anything like executive orders, thankfully. Yes we too have a democracy, but our system is very different, thankfully times two.

The Ex! Sweet memories, thanks for reminding me. I worked at the ‘baby rest’ one summer, a looong time ago. I lost my wallet there and it was turned in with my 20 bucks and everything else still in it. I was much appreciative 🥰

I had a granola weekend. I made some for me, granola bars for my son and some for a neighbour with a sick dog. The house smells great now 😊

Did you do visit the shortest one and get some potato chips while you were at it. I can’t find my photo of it, but I sure enjoyed the taste the toppings. 🤪
