HuggingFace team's responce isnt the best but ugh theres a moral ick to this data set.

Hi everyone,

We have received a large number of reports and emails about this dataset. Rather than reply in each thread, here is our position in one place. We will close the duplicate reports and point them here.

What this dataset contains. Lists of URLs pointing to Cara's CDN, plus metadata (usernames, display names, titles, descriptions, tags). It contains no image files.
Copyright reports. We have reviewed these carefully. Because no copies of the artworks are hosted here, and because the URLs point to the copies the artists published on Cara, there is nothing hosted on Hugging Face that we can disable through our notice-and-takedown process. This is not a judgement about who owns the works (the artists do) it is about what is stored on our servers. Filing further copyright reports on the same basis will not change this outcome.
Requests to remove usernames and metadata. Usernames, display names and associated metadata are personal data. We have consolidated the requests we received and forwarded them to the publishers of this repository and of the known mirror, asking for those entries to be removed by August 27th. As the publishers, they are responsible for responding to requests of this kind under applicable data protection law; if they do not act on them, we will consider what further steps are appropriate.
Cara's terms of service. Terms of Service are binding between a platform or service and its users, but do not automatically carry over to activity on third party services.
Conduct in these discussions. We are actively reviewing all comments that violate our Code of Conduct (slurs, harassment, graphic content, bullying, etc). Please report individual comments that go against the CoC rather than replying to them.
