great songs sound better with a great mix. a “great mix” is understanding the song, the artists intent AND at the same time what the pesky humans like. that’s the pitch, basically you may as well slide in my dm’s should you be at that crossroads

I have been threatening this for a while but have broken ground on this. I am also finishing Seascapes and was v excited that @deluxemixing.com has sent me some amazing mixes today. Pebbles tho is like my sandpit or test lab. Short, abstract textures. 1 done 3 more to do. Who knows when

A painting of three beach pebbles. From left to right, one is a mustard brown with some light blue details. The middle one is black with a thick white line and the right one is reddish brown.

They sit over a blurred image of the coast. In the bottom corner it says Pocket Lint. Pebbles Volume II

the good news is there’s no way to track a private individual putting things in a jiffy bag and posting them

fresh from an art soaked negroni-thon in italy @pocketlint.bsky.social lays this classic on me: “i want it to sound like a lighthouse” never change, Mark!

Suno got battered in a German court case because of the unlikely hero that is “Daddy Cool” Yep, the disco cheese nugget himself. They dropped in the lyrics and it repeatedly spat out a clone of the original song, proving it was trained on the germanic classic. frank farian, all is forgiven!

nothing to do with me, but great! @richardplaysthesax.bsky.social shows up like a reverb drenched bad smell on a lot of the deluxe posse’s tunes because he’s fantastic

went to see, it was great! also here was crazy loud in some of the scenes at sea, i suspect it’s like that by design?

apparently it sounded “wavy” on the radio?! it’s always a cool baby step getting played on bbc introducing for any indie artist - happy to have helped :)

another album master turned in…this one was tricky. i think the mixes were done over a long period of time, so it was initially hard to make sit as an album. patience won in the end!

67 years old and you (well, I…) can still find yourself asking if you’re making things which sound this good

apart from it being the classic kid disobeys and fucks everything up movie, the end…wow - in the UK jimmy saville was an epstein level creep and an entire gang based on him was just too much nonsense

Adam Whittaker @deluxemixing.com · 18/06/2026

this is the way - look what just happened in hungary. people realised the corruption in government was the enemy, voted it out and since then nothing but progress in eliminating the rot

Adam Whittaker @deluxemixing.com · 15/06/2026

anyone else into Dennis Wilson’s River Song? wish we could casually throw gospel choirs on more tunes
