I spent a long time wondering why I wasn't growing as an artist. Truth be told, I was. I just couldn't see it. Once I pulled myself outta my comfort zone and tried new techniques, my mind started to be able to see things differently and I started to make big process. I am grateful. #art | #advice

The people I used to be around used to always make me feel like I was a problem because during collabs I wasn’t comfortable with them bringing in others without notice, while we were live together. I tried to push myself to be more comfortable but they and others kept making jokes about it.

If you are passionate about this, start a google doc and start writing down your ideas! Things like your goals, requirements, any particular game focus, aesthetic, name, etc! Your doc doesn’t have to be fancy. Just writing it out can help! Take it slow and really think about it!

Tried out two games today! Hytale, a Minecraft-esque game that is a lil more fun imo and Heartopia! It was really cute, even if the desktop controls need some polish. Been playing a lot of games outside my usual repertoire and I am having a BLAST!

Jealousy among peers in the art community is rampant. I’ve experienced it from a peer before and I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. I did everything I could to help them learn and gain confidence to no avail. Some people would rather try to hurt others rather than try new ways to improve.
