Aqua and Seth standing on a bed of golden flowers. Aqua is laughing while Seth is panicking. Aqua is talking to Seth, which she says:

"Uuu, Seth! Where are we, huh? Where are we?"

The questions are supposed to pertain to differences between the two games. I will answer some of the unrelated questions separately, but those will not end up on the page.

INTERDREAM is fairly standalone, but we want to remain true to the characters, so DELTARUNE's progressing story will still affect how we develop the game. This is why we won't have a proper "release version" of the game until after DELTARUNE is complete.

Team Cinnabun / DELTARUNE INTERDREAM @interdream.teamcinnabun.com · 16/09/2026

The game will have accessibility options / features wherever they are applicable and necessary. We will continue to have the Easy Mode option available for those who need the difficulty decreased.

DELTARUNE will affect the game's development, because we do not plan on having any proper "Chapter Releases" until DELTARUNE is complete. We might have a "Chapter 1 Demo" before DELTARUNE's completion, but with a disclaimer that the game is subject to change due to it being a pre-release version.

I'll go ahead and drop the current draft for the answer of this question.

Question: What happens if you become unhappy with the games direction again?

Answer: Then the game will be cancelled, and we release most of the development planning resources, alongside the source code.

I think we won't become unhappy with the game's direction. What would happen is that we would just lose passion for the project as a whole.

The game won't let you load a DELTATRAVELER save into INTERDREAM.

We have no plans to have official localizations in the game, at least while the game remains incomplete.

the interdream tumblr has been forever changed... the pinned message no longer has the screenshot of kris and susie on the bed of golden flowers

Pinned Tumblr post from "deltarune-interdream", which says:

Welcome to the DELTARUNE INTERDREAM Tumblr Blog!

Greetings, and welcome... to the blog of an UNDERTALE series fangame called "DELTARUNE INTERDREAM" (formerly called DELTATRAVELER in another life). Run by @vyletbunni

- End text -

Below the text is a drawing of Kris hovering in front of a trippy space background, facing back towards camera, with their SOUL floating above them trailing from their back.

Around Kris are their friends. Susie looks back, winking and smiling while giving a thumbs up. Noelle looks to the side with a relieved look of nostalgia, smiling. Her hand is pressed against her chest. Ralsei looks over with a cheerful expression, holding a parasol.

We remade the climbing mechanics from DELTARUNE Chapter 4 & 5! We have plans to use this mechanic in the game, and want to try using it in new ways that aren't in DELTARUNE. You may even notice one of them here...

We won't! This is just going to be an option for those who want a console-like experience. 4:3 resolutions aren't going anywhere.

Let's try something that might be a little fun... If you have a question for one of the CHARACTERS, then ask on this post! Be sure to address the character in your reply. Answers will probably roll in later...

We've gone ahead and hidden the Game Jolt and itchio download links for DELTATRAVELER Classic, as we've recently seen an uptick in people calling DELTATRAVELER gameplay "DELTARUNE INTERDREAM". If you want to play the original game, that can still be found on our website in "Other Downloads".
