Winning my first game of commander at HasCon in 2015. I was always bullied as the worst Magic player in middle/high school when playing sixty card kitchen table magic, and even in college i didn’t really win. Winning against randoms with a handmade deck made me fall in love with Magic.

I was originally down on her design a bit, but it encourages playing a host of different walker types. You can’t just load up with the best ones; you need a critical mass of different walkers to get the best proliferate off. You can literally reassemble the gatewatch with her, that’s fun.

It was cool to follow a card and character between stories and planes, a sort of ‘walker lite’ with the omen paths. But they really couldn’t land with the time skips between stories. Doesn’t help that we had two ‘hat sets’ to finish his story. They had potential in Eldraine but it couldn’t land.

This has quickly become my favorite board remover. It’s just enough of a build around to work really well in decks but just generic enough that other players won’t hate you the same way a Cyclonic rift will do.

Ooooh okay, that makes a lot more sense now. The original take then is probably cold-room temp, where someone not practicing it would be a better player and better pod mate than someone taking the best cards and mashing them together. I’ve sold my grave pacts for that reason; it’s a feels bad card.

Every time I look at this card I think I should love it; doubling triggers is so funny and silly. But then I pulled one and every time I ask myself ‘where do I put it?’ I find myself leaving it out of the list for something more in theme or more fun than this bloated chair.

A moonlit meditation could help, as you can apply it to one of your token producers like battlesphere. Now when you make a batch of tokens, you make that many battlespheres, which then makes Brundiclad have a better target

While I identify as a trans woman now, I used to identify as nonbinary. I want to shout out one @spice8rack.bsky.social as well. When I was first finding my way through being non-binary, I found out this wonderful person was also nonbinary in the same magic hobby as I. I felt seen. So happy pride.

Ran her in college when she first dropped, I was so happy with my 4 color hydra deck, but turned out, she can win by herself purely due to her keywords. Ended up dropping the deck, people hated seeing her.

Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero. Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone. I hope this video clears that up.
