She likes the slow grip it takes on her victims’ consciousness. Watching them slowly losing control of their faculties and forgetting everything but the overpowering urge to crawl out of their skin as their own body turns against them. [Alright, maybe she is just a little bit crazy…]

Sì, certo. Plants are dear allies of hers as well. They aid her in poisoning her enemies.

Oddly enough, she does not find it crazy to seek revenge upon those who would harm what she loves. A hot take, apparently, as they say…

La Strega has no desire to accumulate power or territory. Her mind is fixated on a single motive. Punizione. [Retribution.]

“They are like my family. Other streghe (witches)…like me.” She tilted her head, assessing the small intruder. He seemed overall to be harmless. He didn’t even know of her or her coven. Not an immediate threat, she determined. “Who are you? What is your business here?”

The Strega covers a wilting datura flower in her hands, closes her eyes, and mumbles a few words in a state of deep focus. As she loosens her hand, the bloom picks itself back up to look to the sun again. Happy as ever. Her lips twitch into a faded half smile.
