I got tickets to the 40th Anniversary Distant Worlds Chicago show next year! I'm gonna be literal feet away from Nobuo Uematsu himself, it doesn't even seem real 🥹

Genuinely I'm so excited to see the reaction to this song! The original release never found an audience but thanks to vocal synth and all the tricks I've learned in the last 9 years I've been able to rework it into a much better song. I hope you'll consider giving it (and the demo) a listen!

One of these days I gotta play Path of Radiance myself. That one completely passed me by back in the day. Also reminding me Fortune's Weave is out and I have neither the time nor the money for it rn 😭

Correct! In this case I was not referring to a general backlog, however, since those do not exist Backlog here merely refers to Zelda games specifically I have not fully experienced yet 😉

OK chat, TotK is beaten and I'm still sorta in the Zelda mood Thinking about dusting off and plugging in the ol' Wii U and knocking out another of my backlog games BUT WHICH ONE?! Leaning toward TP but I could go either way

I also admit I have a lot of Zelda blind spots, and it'll be interesting to see if I develop a new favorite as I gradually remedy that

BotW/TotK Zelda is my favorite iteration of the character. I loved learning about her through the flashbacks in both games, and watching her grow throughout BotW into the strong leader willing to do whatever it takes to save her people in TotK made her so compelling.

15. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Anticipation of OoT:R motivated me to go back and finally finish it. I knew it back then, but having finally beaten it solidified this as my favorite Zelda game. There's so much I love, I just burned myself out in '23 hence the 3 year wait to complete😅

Finally finished Tears of the Kingdom. It already was basically my favorite Zelda game but finally seeing it through to the end only solidified that. Just a spectacularly well made game.

14. Orbitals If you own a Switch 2 and have a co-op buddy this game is a must buy! It's a charming little adventure that doesn't overstay its welcome that is BURSTING with classic anime vibes (right down to the theme song that goes way harder than it needs to!). Loved every minute!

Now that I've confirmed I can stream my recording setup I definitely want to do more songwriting streams in the future. Idk if we'll do another "full song in a day" type streams for a while lol, but it'd still be fun to hang out and chat while I write stuff. I enjoyed that!

WHAT AN AMAZING STREAM! Thank you everyone who came and spent time with me throughout the day! We finished writing the song in about 7 hours lol. Look forward to "Heart of Ice" ft Kasane Teto SV2, coming either November or December!!!

If I had a nickel for every Zynthesiren guitar solo I've influenced thanks to some silly joke on Discord, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's crazy that it happened twice.

There's something to be said about how Sony has spent the last two months washed up in negative press from bending the knee to shareholders while spitting in the faces of its most loyal consumers Meanwhile Nintendo quietly rolls up with 2 consecutive days full of reminders why video games are fun

I think just the overall modernization of the game will do wonders tbh. The original just never felt *good* to play. It was stiff, slow, etc. Based on the footage I've seen lots of that is addressed. I'm at least gonna give it a chance!

Finally got to watch the Zelda direct and yep, I think this may be the version of Ocarina that finally clicks for me, it looks great. Now the real question... Can I finish Trails in the Sky SC and Final Fantasy Resonance before it drops? 😂

I tried to play it again just last year and made it to the Zora's Domain as child Link before deciding that I just wasn't having fun and ended up putting it down. Maybe nostalgia would carry it if I actually did own it as a kid on the 64 but I didn't lol

010

Delicious Morsels | "In a Moment" 10.10.26 🔻🔴🔻 @deliciousmorsels.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Yeahhhh... Like I played it as a kid but it and the N64 were still very new and revolutionary at the time. I never actually owned it until the 3DS and the only reason I played as much as I did on that was because the 3DS was new and it was my only game lol

13. Golden Sun Finally gave this GBA gem a real go and loved it. Not perfect, but it's a fun game. Djinns gave FF8 GF vibes which I enjoyed. Mixing and matching them was fun to a degree, but it wasn't as customizable as I'd have hoped. Will play the sequel eventually
