I've been deleting bugs and enhancing some other features! Deleting replies to deleted posts have been one of my fav delete jobs to run, now you can delete reposts of deleted posts.

Two quick cleanup option cards from the Deletem app: "Detached replies" (replies to deleted posts) and "Detached reposts" (reposts of deleted posts), each with a broken-link style icon.

You can also filter by posts, replies and reposts. Only want to include posts that have an image? Do it! You can also protect any of your own posts from future deletion simply by liking it.

Added a new feature called Protection Rules. Like a post to protect it from deletion. Or set a minimum like count to automatically keep high engagement posts safe if thats your thing.

A checked option labeled “Protect posts I liked” notes that liked posts will be excluded from deletion and may depend on PDS data. Here’s a demo of filters in action. I filter by posts in the last 6 months, that have images AND links with any label applied. Since it’s in dry run mode there’s no fear of accidentally deleting posts.

New features alert 🚨 - You can now filter by labels! - Added a whole section on ❤️ Likes deletion. - As I add filtering options, the site was getting a bit long in the scroll so I added drop downs to keep it clean.

If you’re on iOS (I’m sure Android has something like this I just don’t have one to test with) you can add deletem as an icon on your Home Screen! Just go to deletem.app > Share > Add to Home screen The icon actually will change color if you’re in light or dark mode!

Today, Deletem is designed and tested for accounts hosted on bsky.social. Self-hosted PDS instances are not currently supported. I plan to support self-hosted PDSes in the future so keep an eye on this account for when that happens!

Using deletem.app, you can now you can filter (include or exclude!) your Bluesky posts by: Images only Videos only Posts with links GIF posts It still works with all the existing filters (keywords, date ranges, post types) so you can get really granular about what to delete.
