I still use all these guys. I have a shiny deerling thats like ten years old. So many foundational experiences vanishing, not just in pokemon. Its nice to have a rock in your life, something unchanging that always gives that feeling of comfort and familiarity. Its a bummer.

This was right after Hemomancer in 2022. Its a proper butterfly effect, I was ready to hunt him for months. He showed up in 201 encounters, letting me go back to modding. The donations from Necromancer helped me salvage my old 2ds and and bring forward childhood shinies. Theres nothing else like it

Pretty bummed about the Pokemon Bank announcement. Lots of things I grew up with being sunset, for no other reason than some corporation decided it wasn't worth it. I thought I talked about it on here but I guess not? I did the ribbon master challenge, I cherish my Palisade ways hard to express.

Binders tell the vfx where to go. mdl editing tells the model where that binder where to be. Operator guns for example use 5 and 3 iirc, one as the gun nozzle where all the muzzle flashes are, and one for the action where the reload flash is (I think I meant ejection smoke to be there but its on 5)

Sounds like a binder issue if I'm understanding correctly? Assuming the binder is assigned correctly (when it blows back into the face), then the issue could be the mdl file of the weapon especially if its modded. Its not a hard fix just a bit intimidating. 1/2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jX_...

Wasnt able to fit it into Operator 1.1 but since a friend asked about it, I do actually already have plans to eventually do a "Full XIV SFX" toggle, where every sound effect from a different game instead uses an XIV counterpart. More viable than youd expect just would need to be an update on its own

Its a summoned weapon, so w1911. Likely won't show up in the posing tools as a result since its not an actual creature, its closer to the MCH's scatter gun. But I hear someone did create a mod that replaces the chocobo with one that might work for gposing :P

It's both. G-Warrior and G-Savior, Aether sabers, the orphan pilots, all that is very gundamy. The oversoul (ruby and sapphire weapon's especially) consuming the pilot is way more evangelion sync rate and angel coded than it is, say, gundam psychoframe. It's a love letter to mecha in general

The rebuilds as exercises in writing are flawed. The rebuilds as catharsis to one of the most painful mirrors of ones lowest points are incredibly potent, especially the final movie. I wish more people appreciated them for the latter.
