Gambit's mass removal was successful. Fingers crossed, it's not cancerous. Should have results by next Friday. Unfortunately, this means we're stuck in ATX for an additional 2 weeks.

If you've ever wondered whether or not you can cut yourself with a butter knife, the answer is yes. Or maybe it's just me. 🤦‍♀️

One of my favorite things about my new home is that I'm far enough from the closest small town that I don't deal with traffic, lots noises and close neighbors, but I'm close enough that instacart will deliver my groceries.

Ngl, I hate that I haven't hit my reading goal of 30 books yet. This move has really put a damper on my reading. I'm almost done w/my reread of The Shadow of What was Lost, as well as another book. Maybe I'll speed through The Giver. Still one of my faves, 25 yrs after my 1st read.

I usually don't wake up before 9/9:30, but Ted woke me just after 7. Right at the very start of sunrise.

Ted's new clothes arrived yesterday. I got him a sweater and 2 jackets. Hopefully, his teeth won't be chattering when he comes in from a potty break on snow days.

Happy December, y'all. Had to put on the Xmas collars/tags and get a pic of the boys in the snow. I did not give them a sit command. They made that decision on their own.

Went out to get a pic of the sunset. Gambit followed me. He ran ahead of me, right in my way. I'm so glad recall training is working. I was able to get a couple shots of him high tailin' it back to me.

What does a vegan eat on Thanksgiving? Scallop potatoes and a stuffed, fried, vegan turkey leg, of course.

I need to get better slip on shoes for running outside to get the mail now that I'm no longer in TX. Walking 500 feet and back to get the mail in snow when it's 21° out is not it.

I love that I have a window over my kitchen sink. It's something I've always wanted. It has such a nice view too. With the exception of the telephone poles

We got to our new house in MN on Monday. Had our first snow of winter. So excited for a white Xmas.

I swear, I had every intention of going out to a brewery today. It was my intention yesterday as well, but after 3 consecutive days of driving for over 6.5 hours, I haven't wanted to do anything this weekend. Tomorrow, it's back to my house for movers and internet install ppl.

Had to take a picture with my great dane. I adopted him at a year old back in Jan 2020. He came from an abusive home. It took him 1.5 yrs just for him stay on the bed overnight. I couldn't even imagine being able to cuddle like this back then. Fuck people who hurt animals!
