Before you divide, estimate. For 168 divided by 7, round to 175 divided by 7 in your head first, that is 25, so the real answer should land close to that. Estimating first catches most mistakes before they happen. #EduSky #iTeachMath

A lot of elementary students get stuck on carrying in addition for the same reason: they forget which column the extra ten belongs to. Try this instead: write the carried digit small, right above the next column, every single time, even for easy problems. #EduSky #iTeachMath

Quick tip: when multiplying by 9, multiply by 10 and subtract the original number. 7 x 9 becomes 70 minus 7, which is 63. It is one of the small habits we build into every multiplication Drillbook, one problem at a time. #EduSky #iTeachMath
