It’s not the only reason. PSR yep. But think about it. The knock on effect of finishing 12th has made those top level players stop believing that nufc have any chance of winning anything soon or competing at top level. Bruno is 28! If nufc had made Europe in some form he’d have probably stayed.

For what it’s worth. I didn’t expect or even want (or believe it was possible) to buy immediate success. Say Nufc spending £500m in one window offering £500 grand a week etc.. would not have sat easy with me and many other fans. But…all we want is fair and even transfer rules across the prem.

Every club operates under the rules. Occasionally (Forest, Everton) slip up and are docked points. The problem isn’t that spurs arsenal etc..and others are allowed to spend. It’s the point that Villa and Newcastle CANT because the rules are skewed to favour these clubs by default.

This is true. I have to say this. It’s not that spurs are spending. They’ve got the money. It’s that a few other clubs with ambition are being hampered unfairly. Arsenal, city, spurs. Spend away! but to prevent nufc and villa for example at least matching them is anti competitive and yes unfair
