U.S. District Judge Sara E. Hill ruled that police pulling a month's worth of vehicle tracking data from Flock and ALPR databases without a warrant is unconstitutional. The judge called passive, long-term location tracking "constitutionally problematic". #deflockyakima #PrivacyRights #CivilLiberties

Pandemic recovery checklist: Support small businesses? ❌ Aid public health? ❌ Fund a mass surveillance dragnet? Bingo! ✅ Shoutout to Yakima leadership for deciding that ARPA funds are best spent watching us drive to the grocery store. Make your voice heard at City Hall on Tuesday at 5:30pm. 🗣️

Nothing says “family-friendly festival fun” quite like combat gear & surveillance trailers next to the funnel cake stand. The city & county spares no expense turning the Central WA State Fair into an occupied zone. Our leadership’s priorities couldn’t be clearer. #deflockyakima #fundourcommunities

City Council is rushing to pass rules that authorize "automated video analytics systems" for the 76 live-streaming surveillance cameras they already approved the County to install, all w/o prior public hearings or transparency w/ rules they don't even follow themselves. ❗️Show up Tues, 5:30pm.

Six of the eleven senators set to grill Flock's CEO on September 23 are cosponsoring a bill that would fund more surveillance and put a new ICE-led intelligence center in charge of sharing it.
