I've been featured in Decibel Magazine Issue #261 for their "Guest Slayer" column! It really captures the kind of music that shaped my early days—though if I was to make that list again today, it might look completely different. This photo is definitely something else. Haha. -Yusuke-

Last night, I made my way to Shibuya to catch Obscura. We once shared a three-week journey together on a tour bus through Europe, so seeing them perform was deeply moving. It proves that no matter how the lineup evolves, a band will always forge ahead if the bandleader possesses a clear conviction.

A rare chance to let loose for Golden Week—an impromptu all-night metal summit. Much respect to my brother Rin from Hydrophobia—a true tube amp worshiper, riff master, and high priest of the ramen cult. "Distortion comes from the right hand.” That’s the mantra, and I couldn't agree more.

Unleashed the first track, “Portal” from "Altered State". What’s your take on it? Some might say it sounds too straightforward for Defiled…but don’t be misled. That’s exactly the point. “Portal” is the oddball — a deceptive gateway into a twisted, piece of work. This album goes deep into chaos.

This pic was taken on Nov 17, 2015 back when the band was based in Naha, Okinawa. We had our own rehearsal studio back then, and it was pretty much nonstop jam sessions every day. November in Okinawa still feels tropical- you still need the AC on. Shot this one with banana leaves in the background.
