We'll have a number of WLAN Pi’s available in the room for development efforts (M4+ and R4); please bring your own if you have one. The sprint runs parallel to bootcamp sessions but does not cost anything to attend, so feel free to walk in or add shoulder hotel nights.

Beginners gain confidence, veterans share knowledge, and everyone moves the project forward together. @def.joshschmelzle.com and @crv.bsky.social will be leading the sprint with other core team members dropping in at random (Jerry Olla, Nick Turner, Adrian Granados).

This is an opportunity to build, connect, and learn from WLAN Pi core developers! Whether you're a beginner (setting up your development environment for the first time) or a seasoned developer (comfy with coding, Git, and pull requests), are you ready to jump in?

Are you attending WLPC PHX 2026? Taking a bootcamp and unsure what to do in the evening after? Arriving early? We’re thrilled to announce that the WLAN Pi team will be hosting our first open-door, in-person development sprint during the days leading up to the conf (Sat - Mon, February 14 - 16).

Got some FOMO from not going to DEFCON but last time I went by myself I did not have a good time and felt overwhelmed. Need friends to go with next time!

Gave up on i3, maybe I'll come back to it again some day, and trying KDE Plasma 6 on Trixie now. What's your favorite window manager for Linux?

Different spaces. AOS-10 for the showcase for Wi-Fi 7. AOS-8 for the rest of the spaces and hotel since we can leverage MultiZone on all the house APs. The house isn't on AOS-10 or Wi-Fi 7 yet.

This is to extend the event network into the rest of the venue outside of the expo halls. The expo halls will be using the latest AOS-10 builds and New Central to power AP-735s and AP-755s that I posted a photo of earlier.
