I always like birds of prey the most among animals. That is why I have created many characters over the years, but the character design process was slow, so I haven't had a chance to talk about it.

I might add more of them when time allows~

Bird of prey project I'm personally working on! It’s nothing particularly grand; I just want to try making a lot of birds of prey characters~

Though I usually persue to create something innovative, I also like to try out the classical things, like vampires and werewolves. They're one of my favorite creatures among the mythical beings actually!

A random designs! On the left is a vampire and the other is a werewolf. I've think of using some elements that I rarely use whenever I try to create both species.

An art from a monthly art challange with people. The topic was Scale. Personally, I briefly referenced the greek mythology of the stymphalian bird; a voracious avian creature with a bronze beak and feather made of sharp metal.

I like simple composition, like broad emptiness with a huge object or something. I remember some of movie posters are showing this kind of layout and they always gave me a strong feelings.

I rarely do illustrations but I had a feel to draw some kind of composition like this today...Yes there is a story behind it but does it worth to tell it? Idk! But I like how it comes out!

Actually I have many oc couple! I like their stories and I draw lot about them, but usually don't share them in a public space like, where I post my mainstream works?(=creatures, world building stuff)

Beside of the main theme, I tried to add some folklore feeling to this work; like dreamcatcher hanging on it's antlers and the mummified corpse like face it has.

Yay!! I'll anticipate the new works you'll make from now on!

The theme of this work was fur. It was a monthly creature art challenge with a people who have engaged together.

Your skill of using ink pen is insane!! I love it so much!

I'm so glad you said that! While basic muscle shapes are cool enough, I often draw with the idea that it would be fun to add something more unique!

Thank you! I really like the muscular structure of flying creatures, and I wanted to try to express that!

Wip. A type of mammal that evolved into a form capable of flight. I worked on it thinking that it evolved at an extreme speed in some polluted area.

I usually collect toys and figures. The experience while playing with it might affect my art too, like, making a leg joint of a character to look like a mechanical structure with an interesting gimmick...

0260

Deerchip사슴칩 @deerchip.bsky.social · 30/01/2026

Thank you! True! I like drawing organic lifeform, but I occasionally like to try out an 'inorganic' feature to make the creature look more surreal. A lifeform which looks almost lifeless is kind of a contradiction and it might make people to be curious about it.

They share same height(around 170cm), body/hair color, similar fashion and hair style, etc. But their personality is way different, so there is always subtle tension among them. A classic family problem.

I always liked marine animals, including extinct ones. Their meticulous, mathematically arranged anatomy looks almost ethereal. For this viewpoint, I especially adore the work of Haeckel's. His invertebrate drawings are one of my favs.

He can climb vertical walls and ceilings at ease and thanks to his flexible skeleton made of cartilage, he can squeeze into narrow gaps such as vents. He also can change his body color! All the traits he has make him impossible to be spotted.
