I finally have all my animated emotes up. I gave up doing custom textures.... I kept getting lost and haven't had time to do it. Maybe one day. Let's see them live. www.twitch.tv/dragongirl_9... #TwitchStreamer #NewEmotes #Live

#Booksky #CurrentlyReading I am 3/4s through The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman, and am reminded with every page that resistance is not something you can turn on and off, but must commit to for the long term. Also, every IRL horror story has hundreds of unsung heroes.

half-body commission for @deerbydesign.bsky.social, their Star Trek OC T'Maar! thank you for commissioning me 💜 #art

digital waist-up portrait of a Vulcan original character. he appears to be a young adult, slender and tall, with tan skin and olive green-toned blush. he has long pointed ears that are decorated with silver cuffs, straight eyebrows whose tails rise towards the hairline, and dark eyes accentuated with blue eye shadow. his straight dark brown hair is cut in an asymmetric bob. he is wearing beige and brown robes, with patterned olive green pauldrons. around his neck, there are two necklaces: one closer to a choker, with a bright green triangular pendant set into a silver frame; the other necklace is longer, with a rounded golden pendant with a silver arrowhead shape superimposed over it. the character appears to be leaning on his elbows on some sort of horizontal surface, the long wide sleeves of his robes draping down. his long tail with a dark brown tuft of hair at the end is also resting on the table next to his forearm. he is holding a long cigarette holder in his right hand and looking slightly off-camera with a sultry gaze. the background behind him is a glowing periwinkle blue, matching his eye makeup and making his silhouette stand out.

Chicken scratching lines is okay for beginners imo as long as the goal is to loosen up eventually- make those lines longer and longer. Chicken scratching and short strokes are sort of an iterative process, for me, it was figuring out where I wanted the line to go, and training my muscles.

re: generative AI I have finally fully and accurately explained my problem with how it’s marketed and used. And now, you can use it, too.

Generative Al is being marketed as a tool designed to reduce or eliminate the need for developed, cognitive skillsets. It uses the work of others to simulate human output, except that it lacks grasp of nuance, contains grievous errors, and ultimately serves the goal of human beings being neurologically weaker due to the promise of the machine being better equipped than the humans using it would ever exert the effort to be.

The people that use generative Al for art have no interest in being an artist; they simply want product to consume and forget about when the next piece of product goes by their eyes. The people that use generative Al to make music have no interest in being a musician; they simply want a machine to make them something to listen to until they get bored and want the machine to make some other disposable slop for them to pass the time with.

The people that use generative Al to write things for them have no interest in writing. The people that use generative Al to find factoids have no interest in actual facts. The people that use generative Al to socialize have no interest in actual socialization.

In every case, they've handed over the cognitive load of developing a necessary, creative human skillset to a machine that promises to ease the sweat equity cost of struggle. Using generative Al is like asking a machine to lift weights on your behalf and then calling yourself a bodybuilder when it's done with the reps. You build nothing in terms of muscle, you are not stronger, you are not faster, you are not in better shape.

You're just deluding yourself while experiencing a slow decline due to self-inflicted atrophy.

A two panel image featuring: Sika, a person with light purple hair, deer ears, and pink antlers in a colorful cardigan sitting next to Renko, a tall very muscled man with spikey purple hair in a bright green and black crop jacket. There is a parfait in front of Sika and a beer in front of the Renko. The second image shows them switching items, Sika is drinking the beer and Renko is enjoying the parfait.

I am obsessed with the idea of genderbending a character specifically to see how the clothes change to fit them. Saw a dude cosplaying their own version of Final Fantasy Tifa and it went SO hard.
