Phat thanks again to @pixelsquid.bsky.social 4 somehow gifting us an even BIGGER splat vibes! The team increase was very hype and there were really strong contenders - playing on LAN and essentially living the 'Splatoon university' dream is always a pleasure, I'm even more hyped for vol 5! 💙 my team

@splatuk.bsky.social #compsplatoon This wkend saw us give mooj an incredible sendoff @ splat vibes vol4! After a rough day 1 losing to a couple weirdos w/ a bucket and a short range balloon we bounced back d2, taking mammoth sets in the process (including the now 3x uk lan winners!) and nabbing 3rd!

Reminds me of when we lost out in playoffs to a team we beat and had fewer wins, cause they happened to lose to a higher seeded team. Like they didn't even score a point they just existed and lost to top 5 seed or so and that was enough for them to take precedence over the team that beat them 💀

I stand by the fact that mk world has probably given us the best official remixes of iconic mario tracks, even better than the MASATOG (olympic games), smash and mario maker stage edit osts. They also extended and added entirely new segments for many of them & leaned into new genres that work p well
