Malco doesn’t have You Can See Everything on the schedule currently? Don’t play with me

Petals lunch buffet by campus being 12.99 is insane and simply can’t last but while it does…

Early reaction is that DAZN is better than the previous streaming option in just about every way. Nice Grizz hub in app and picture quality was better.

It’s finally here. The week of the most anticipated film of the year… OTHER MOMMY

Chase @deepfriedcouch.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Still kind of incredible that we get full write ups of the current expansion landscape with entire sections devoted to what if any impact the Portland situation may have without a Grizz mention. I guess I’ll continue to take this as a good sign 🤷‍♂️ but every time I open one I read with bated breath.

I assume they have future plans to fix this because friggin Caitlin Clark vs Aja Wilson in a winner take all game is on… USA Network?

This King was extremely unbothered by me being a few feet away. Respect. It’s your bench my guy.

Don’t love the “good days and bad days” messaging Edey is repeating in his press.

010

Chase @deepfriedcouch.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Edey still expected to be ready to start the year, may or may not play preseason. Only other person who isn’t a full go is Peavy who sprained an ankle. Bless.

We’ll see what kind of health updates we get today but I did finally stare at the roster long enough to wonder if the depth is being overrated in terms of being able to overcome the lack of top line talent.

A Grizz media day where the primary focus isn’t analyzing the mood of our star in hopes he will begin the season interested in playing basketball? Change is tough but I’m willing to give it a try!

There have to be future plans to get these first round W series to best of five, right? Absurd

@amikebloomtype.bsky.social I know you thought last week was big with your BB fame but nothing compared to this week now that you’ve had a fantasy survivor team named after you. (First pick Linnea)

Final three spots could’ve gone to like 10 different shows idk

To whom it may concern, “Little Petals” on Highland is really Medium Petals. Tons of seating, full service, and no bento box option. Not quite the full menu of standard Petals.

Silver on whether it’s a point of pride that no team has relocated (Regarding Portland): “There are times when it becomes necessary for a team to relocate so I don’t want to make that a point of pride… but I would see it as a failure if we did not keep the team in Portland.”

Good morning, Two weeks to training camp and not only is there no new lease for FedexForum but also no meaningful public update on the work being done in and around the building. And yes, everyone remains steadfast that all is well so let’s hope that’s right!

A nature movie where monkeys got drunk on grapes that our 6th grade “science teacher” (he was a football coach) showed us 10 times while he fully slept on his desk with a little pillow.

You will now watch the Grizzlies as you would on Netflix — directly via an app.

Lol at usher at the usher at the top of 119 setting people off because he’s telling people that there are no assigned seats and you should just find something close

Since Adam is so concerned with us being Tennessee’s team we will wear a Dolly jersey patch. And the good people of Tennessee can drive on down here to support.

Movie weekend thoughts: End of Oak Street- Can’t believe this got made. Weird and fun Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma- a wild, weird film if you’re unfamiliar w/Shoenbrun but not that weird if you are. Fun, funny, & gorgeous. Odyssey in imax 70mm- sorry to report it’s just better this way

I loved the excuse to go but prime time MLK Day slot is better than an international game. I remember when people were going on about how us getting the Europe games was evidence of Ja’s superstardom. Bruh, they just pick one team relevant to the location and an opponent. SAS vs. NOP this year.

So I’m guessing the Nashville game(s) can is kicked down the road to 27/28? But we’ll soon find out.

Obviously not from that group that is buying the Lakers but I wonder how many offers Pera has received in the last 24 months. We know of at least one.

Shoutout to Jerami Grant for enjoying the listening lab at Crosstown. None of it will matter if they stink but people will enjoy that both Grant and Stewart are engage with the city they’re in type guys. Not just in some charitable, service way but in a hanging out kinda way.

I thought that Spider-Man movie was really good? Somewhat to my surprise. Perhaps because the universe tie in stuff that I grew weary of many years ago is the Marvel lore that means anything to me at all.

Since I’m thinking about Nash-Memphis relations I forgot to report the lovely interaction with an uber driver in Vegas. “Oh, Tennessee! I lived in Nashville for two years. I really wanted to visit Memphis because it seemed cool but EVERYONE in Nashville told me I definitely shouldn’t go.”

210

Chase @deepfriedcouch.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Two regular season Nashville games announced in tandem with a new lease is fine and can be sold. Six won’t go over well even with a new lease. Any amount they announce without reimbursing season ticket holders (like they got away w/ for London game) is a spit in the face.

Recent events reinforcing my theory that Portland is our spiritual sister or at the very least we are each other’s weird cousin.

I swear every time I think about how the team will look with the current roster it takes me a minute to remember that Jerami Grant is on the team.

Fake niece is 13 now & generally making poor choices in her unsupervised, lawless life in Olive Branch but my heart grows three sizes when she logs a film on letterboxd. I might fail to protect her from bad friends and bad choices but dammit she’s a film loving lib & that’s good enough for me lol

Caved and bought Odyssey Nashville imax tickets for 3 weeks from now. Plus is I can catch Miasma on 35 at Belcourt the night before.

If the preseason schedule has a Nashville game we ought to know about in the next week or two. If not sooner.

Seeing that the Pels basically have no full time coverage now so I should take the slightest moment to appreciate that our little Grizz have two full time beat reporters and essentially a dedicated columnist/analyst in addition to a whole team run media wing.
