A what or a what? Haven't had a cheque book for about 10 years. What decade is it DVLA?
Letter from DVLA about changing tax class of car asking for a cheque or postal order for £3.75. Perhaps I'll send them a Telex to ask how to pay.

I always write out the summer's #Cricket fixtures at the beginning of the English summer. Usually the post it is on the side of my monitor. The last games always seem a long way off and now we're at the end, the New Zealand Tests seem a long time ago! #CricketSky
2 post it notes with England's international cricket fixtures written out.

There was a time when we wouldn't have anything to do with those "French Centimetres". It's 50/127 ths of an inch and that's the way we liked it.
A very old Pears Cyclopedia cover showing the Pears logo (that is presumably pears but does in truth look like a pair of testicles) and across the top is a scale showing "French Centimetres".

#WeirdcarBS A car to alarm people from the 90s... No, don't worry, it's not following you.
A white Vauxhall Senator 3 litre 24 valve. They were mostly police cars due to being big, quick and looking like they meant business. This one may or may not have been but I still checked my speed when I saw it even though I wasn't in a car at the time.

A ticket for the Sunday of the #Edgbaston Ashes test in 2005 was £36 (Eric Hollies stand). Adjusted for inflation that's now around £64. A ticket in the same stand for the #ENGvsIND series is £115. The fact that it's a sell out does not justify that. #TestCricket is being priced out reach. #TMS
inflation tool from Bank of England website showing £36 in 2005 is £63.47 today.
