The one pokemon I know I don't have access to at all is Marshadow. It's the only one really stopping me from completing a living dex, as afaik it only ever was available in limited events that I've missed.

- Still never completed Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, so I'm missing a bunch of Ultra Beasts. - Same with Black 2 and White 2, so might be missing some mons there? - Do I even go back to Pokemon Ranch on Wii and get a few extra Mews? 😂

With Pokemon Bank now having a definitive shutdown date (Feb 26th 2027), I guess I only have a few months to transfer over everything I want to keep from the old games into Pokemon Home. Might even set aside a few days for it and hunt some last few things. 😂

Though honestly out of all the new shows I'm currently very much enjoying "A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even". Just the right amount of magic nonsense and trash.

I'm a bit late, but current season's Anime shortlist: - Draw This, Then Die - Though I am an Inept Villainess - Jaadugar - Sayonara Lara - Kaiju Girl Caramelise - Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You - Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games

With the season now almost over, I can now safely say that Kamiina Botan 100% my show of the season. I don't have the time nor the words to fully describe it, but the combination of excellent animation with mature themes and rarely seen interactions like enjoying drinks and ADULTS flirting; 12/10.

"How can you confuse banana for pineapple?" The Swedish word for pineapple is "ananas", and "banan" for banana. And since I was also half-thinking "I want a banana pizza", "banan" was what I typed to remove. 🤦

000

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Housemate came by and wanted me to pick what kind of pizza I wanted for lunch (he has people over). Still talking to him while choosing, I brainfarted and put in an order for a banana pizza without bananas, instead of removing the pineapple I don't like. 😂 (yes, we have banana pizzas here)

Definitely haven't played a bunch of Forza Horizon 6 and used the photo mode a lot and just moments ago realized the game doesn't automatically SAVE THE PHOTOS. You instead have to UPLOAD THEM TO AN ONLINE SERVICE and download them from there. An option that I CAN'T USE WHEN IN SOLO MODE. 😭

Haven't checked any of my old base set cards as they're old and scuffed - I did actually play with them as a kid after all - but I bought an Elite Trainer box on a whim in 2015, and that apparently had more than a few hits. 😂

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Been getting a lot of wholesome pokemon tcg vendor content on Youtube lately (people giving free cards to kids during shows etc), and figured I'd at least check if any of my cards are worth anything. ...turns out I have at least $1k in *ungraded* cards. Guess I'll get some of them graded. 😅

I also forgot to post a shortlist after last week's Seasonal Marathon, but: - Witch Hat Atelier - Nippon Sangoku - Akane-banashi - Agents of the Seasons - Marriagetoxin ..were the rest of the crowd favourites, of the newly started shows.

000

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 01/05/2026

My personal highlight this anime season, beyond the obviously big mainstream stuff including Witch Hat Atelier, is hands down "Kamiina Botan Fully Blossoms When Drunk". My guilty pleasure genre, but they use different kickass key animators for each episode?? And the little vignette EDs?? So good.

I'm almost 160 hours in, and I'm still floored by how much Stuff this game has.

000

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

Just opened up Crimson Desert again for the first time in a while. (Had to take a break to, you know, do anything else!) In my first 40 minutes back in, I've found a hidden puzzle with a really good bow inside, a key to a cell that is supposedly on the opposite side of the world, and a big village.

100

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

With it being Spring, it shouldn't be a surprise that a lot of series are school-related, but schools were the central location in so many series that I ended up posting this meme every time a new one was starting:

Jail meme from show Parks and Rec, where the text reads "Believe it or not, more school anime"

000

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

Another Season Anime Marathon completed. Finally gave in, and knowing it would be impossible for us to go through all 47 series in one go, we cut it down to 30. Still took 12h.. But it was fun; a lot of new stylistic choices and First-Person shots are oddly prevalent this season.

Ok this quest just had a really awesome way of unlocking the boss arena. Even as a gamedev I'm constantly in awe and almost jealous of how many one-off grand things they've been able to add to this. What a game.

010

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

Another day, another stumbling into a big optional boss fight with a cool area of their own that you wouldn't encounter on the main path. A quest appeared now that I found their lair, and apparently I'll get something something "Immortal" as a reward. I know what I'm doing today!

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

Now 104 hours in. Finally made it to the Crimson Desert. 😂

Goddamn this game. 87 hours in. Looking out over a new beautiful vista, taking in the sights. Then I see something moving in the distance. ...there are TRAINS in this game?!?!?

screenshot from game Crimson Desert. The player character overlooks a vista, with rocky hillside in the foreground, a lush forest with a village beyond, and various grand structures in the far distance.

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

65h in, with likely at least as many left in it for me, if not a lot more further still, based on other people's playtimes that I'm seeing.

000

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

But wow, I'm aghast at the vastness of Crimson Desert. It's for sure not without flaws, some more prominent than others. But the world is so fun to explore and the combat is a lot of fun, especially once you've unlocked some key abilities.

110

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

Pokopia has taken a back seat since Crimson Desert released, but I still go in to collect recipes and such every day. About 270 pokemon found out of 300, and I'm planning of finding them all eventually.

110

Dee-Kej (the person) @deekej.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

I really didn't think I'd have not only one but two new games this early in the year that I would put many tens of hours into (65h and 120h), but here were are. Pokopia and Crimson Desert are really different from eachother, but both really good and really long games 😂
