Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 05/07/2026You know a show is good when it makes you bawl your eyes out in just 2 episodes. I haven't felt this overwhelmed watching a new anime in a long while. #Jaadugar 030
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 10/03/2026Not enough people are talking how hilarious this chapter is. #chainsawman 050
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 20/10/2025Did I mention that I watched the chainsaw Man movie! It was just perfect. My favourite scene was the rooftop scene. They do some crazy stuff with the direction in that. Honestly the best action sequence was reze vs random hitman on the rooftop. Better than even the action galore of denji vs reze. 030
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 14/10/2025Asa's mom did what got them a better future but she also ended up putting the baggage on such a small child. Asa's face after that "Besides he was cheating on me" says how damning it was. It makes sense why Asa remembers her mom with such a cold expression while still longing for her. #chainsawman 040
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 14/10/2025The chapter starting with black smoke from the industrial chimneys polluting the sky. The need for insurance money, work, low payout, school fees, sex, alcohol abuse, violence. It all come down to people trying to survive these capitalistic consumerist reality. #chainsawman #csm217 040
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 14/10/2025So this is the best chainsaw man chapter till date. It's one of those chapters that anyone can take anything from. It's that dense. But right now I'm just with Asa & Denji. Just laughing and feeling light. They're Two Good People. #csm217 020
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 30/09/2025"Children are their parent's property no?" It's the exact same. Asa is stuck between the image of herself and her mom. #csm216 #chainsawman 0317
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 24/09/2025Real Chainsaw Man theory..last time Denji had to make a choice - child Denji said Goodbye to Pochita & went into the alley. And now child Denji finds Asa in the alley. Alleys represent places you keep the discarded, the unwanted. I think Asa has been chasing an exit. Denji will help her #chainsawman 0314
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 23/09/2025My crack chainsaw man theory: Asa & Denji are half siblings. That's why they share the alleyway. In this story about fucked familial dynamics, abuse, the rot in heteronormativity it would actually fit. #chainsawman 384
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 22/09/2025I'm living for all the Makima Farming fanarts that everyone's been making ever since the chainsaw man movie released in Japan. There's so many! 110
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 20/09/2025Chainsaw Man is the greatest. The shark movie experts have spoken. 131
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 19/09/2025This chainsaw man head popcorn bucket is too high quality. I need this so bad. 000
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 03/09/2025That is just factually untrue. It's been more than a decade of career now with multiple influential works. CSM was not the first or last rodeo. I feel the western shonen fandom who depend on anime popularity do not get just how influential Tatsuki Fujimoto is especially among artists. 010
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 19/08/2025#chainsawman #csm212 This is so bleak. What a 14 year old child would've gone through to make this deal. And how much Fumiko seems to want to just live by defeating death. It's also bringing it back to how pt 2 started with Asa & class prez. Empathizing with the + 142
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 09/08/2025Every panel of this manga is such a joy to read. I love this art style. 130
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 06/08/2025Read Black Paradox by Junji Ito. I always forget how funny I find some of his stories. This was one of them. 010
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 05/08/2025Wait.... I didn't even notice there was a QUESTION MARK at the end of each line of the American National Anthem. This is hilarious. 030
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 04/08/2025CITY The Animation ep 5 is one of the most creatively stimulating things I've watched. Kyoani animators doing some crazy unbelievable stuff in this show. 020
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 31/07/2025I keep seeing this Chainsaw Man panel of Miri Sugo used at face value when in context it is very much a depiction of a brainwashed rhightoid kid hating anything Foreign simply cause "Yeah Japan, Yeah Child marriages". #chainsawman 120
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 29/07/2025I love how Fujimoto does beautifully nuanced subtle explorations and then also goes full wild & explosive with particular stuff. Chainsaw Man P2 takes the subtextual sociopolitical satire of P1 & makes it the Main Character. The subtlety & subtext is for the interpersonal struggles. #chainsawman 03911
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 29/07/2025Chainsaw Man is pure ART. P2 is peak Black Comedy. My mouth is agape. 😭 #csm210 #chainsawman 084
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 22/07/2025Yoru was very Asa-like this chapter. Theory: They fused. This is Asa "remembering". "Why did I remember?" cause Nuclear Weapon & its horror is not something Asa would know to remember. Hence the confusion & despairing look, not joy. Nukes ended war & now it's just the victim. #csm209 #chainsawman 150
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 22/07/2025It doesn't feel like Yoru forgot about Nuclear Weapons but memories associated with it. She looks kinda terrified & despairing now that Nuclear Weapons are back. Does this have to do with how Nuclear Weapons are so devastating that it "ends War"? #csm209 #chainsawman 190
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 22/07/2025America just reinvented the Nucleur Weapons to drop on Soviet Union in Chainsaw Man. #chainsawman #csm209 061
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 20/07/2025The Summer Hikaru Died is such an incredibly evocative adaptation. Stellar storyboarding by Asaka Yokohama for EP 3. 100
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 11/07/2025Leviathan, the new anime by Studio Orange is a gem! - Dieselpunk vs CreaturePunk - A prince on the run hiding his identity and an actual tomboy hiding her identity to become an airman as MCs. - canon Lesbian revolutionary from Istanbul - music by Joe Hisaishi - incredible CG work. 030
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 10/07/2025Studio Trigger back with Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt like they never left. Ep 1 was as unhinged, irreverent and insane as ever, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. 0335
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 08/07/2025Honestly a good example of Denji's need to be in misery feeding into his total misconception about war. Thinking that being a weapon of war is repenting somehow. When it's the opposite. It's just causing more harm to everyone. #chainsawman 021
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 08/07/2025I think what Yoru feels is a motherly love as a cope for sacrificing her children. Denji is accepting of abuse & highly dependent like a child & so appeals to Yoru. But being in Asa's mind & body- a teenager- it all gets conflated into one thing & the dynamic becomes of a lover. #chainsawman 010
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 07/07/2025the "evil" trait - typical women stuck in patriachy. This is the exact dynamic between the Public Safety Husband & Wife. 171
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 07/07/2025Kyoani is so back. CITY The Animation EP 1 was a feast for the eyes & soul. Missed having a totally new kyoani show so much that I got teared up at the opening. 000
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 04/07/2025Whoever cut the Chainsaw Man movie trailer don't know that they could've attracted a whole new demographic by putting in Angel's naked ass in lace stocking in the trailer. 000
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 02/07/2025I can't make thematic sense of it yet but Asa is like Power, Aki, Reze, Makima all in one. She's been likened to Power for her personality, she keeps sacrificing a lot of herself like Aki, the role of the "lover" like Reze, and with Yoru- an actual mother- posessing her the role of Makima too. 010
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 01/07/2025"You're dumb so you have to think" Lmao this this is like the perfect advice for Denji #chainsawman #csm207 000
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Read SESESESE by Tabayou. It was only 3 volumes and I cannot recommend this enough. A TS dark comedy that's as outrageous as it is a raw gut punch. Captures the intense self loathing of someone, especially a trans person, who has spent years not being able to live the life they should've. 000
Dev @dededev.bsky.social · 25/06/2025Finished Basara. Had a total blast with this one. An epic fantasy revenge/love story with art that is just stunning. Sarasa is a fantastic protagonist and Shuri's redemption arc is simply masterful. 90s shoujo hits different. 000
