Fifth (and probably last) wip! Only the tomatos and the top bun are missing. Painting so many different textures is quite fun 😌 - This is painted by me with my hands. No computer tricks. - Oil on canvas, 60x40 cm

Third wip! The lettuce leaf is kinda tedious to paint, but it's almost finished. The meat and the cheese will be much more fun :D I'm as excited as the hamster is 😬 Oil on canvas. 60x40 cm

First wip! This cute hamster is really looking forward to his dinner. :3 I wanted to paint some of my own prepared food, so I made a very tasty hamburger. But just a hamburger would have been too easy :D Oil on canvas, 60x40 cm

After 2 months of work my next deepsky image is finally finished. I wanted to photograph the faint oxygen shell of WR134, which you can see in blue. This was quite challanging, but I think it was worth it. :3 19h narrowband data + 2h for RGB stars Sky-Watcher Esprit 120EDX + ZWO 2600MC Air

First wip! As I said, I'm painting a bunch of small red radishes. :D This expands my series of vegetables paintings. So far I'm really taking my time with this one. The size 1 brush I'm using for most of the parts doesn't help either. xD Oil on canvas, 50x40 cm

My motivation to paint is slowly coming back. In the meantime, I'll show you something much nicer. I got a new telescope and my first light with it was the eagle nebula (M16) with the pillars of creation in the middle. It had been my dream for a very long time to capture that. It's fucking awesome 😲

Decyl @decyl.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Second wip! It looks like I didn't paint that much, but I've actually spent a lot of time working on the background. Now all that's left is the fursuit. At first I thought the background was too difficult and won't look good when painted, but I'm really happy with the result so far. 😊 Oil on canvas
