Oh so setting up ceph within proxmox works the same as spinning up manually? Might try that route.

What are you moving to?

Dale @decryptingdale.com · 05/08/2025

Haha that’s funny. All my services are docker containers, wanted to separate that from lab stuff. Now I can break stuff and not get yelled at by family 🤣

Move all my home services to my synology, all going well so far. Time to rebuild the dell r420 #homelab

Finally got my hands on some Juniper gear to add to the lab. First thing I had to tackle was recovering the root password and making sure it boots into the primary partition instead of the backup.

Dale @decryptingdale.com · 16/04/2025

Looking at maybe building out a small juniper lab. What hardware would you recommend?

Today I upgraded the mini rack: it now has SDR capabilities courtesy of a CaribouLite, for portable radio fun! Full video on the setup and remote SDR with GQRX here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz2W...

So 2024 was pretty crazy with social media, it’s been amazing to meet so many new people and collaborate with some awesome companies. I think my biggest goal of 2025 is to post more long form content on YouTube. Not sure of a schedule but hoping for at least one video every two weeks
