My next four games! (Maybe :3) Going solely by release date here, my ability to get these games is unrelated lmao

46. Final Fantasy XIV Online - A Realm Reborn (2013) + The world of Eorzea was endlessly fun to explore + THE SOUNDTRACK HOLY FUCKKKKKKKK + I didn't end up playing with many of the classes available to me, but those I did I've really enjoyed +/- Story was okay, but nothing spectacular

One that comes to mind for me is Dax from Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. There are plenty of reasons to dislike Dax and Operation Overdrive as a whole, but Dax specifically both acts and looks like someone who I've cut out of my life and he just brings back a lot of bad memories for me.

Holy shittttt, I finally got 3 Star Gold Trophies in every Grand Prix across every Speed in MK8DX. Been at this for a couple weeks, I'm incredibly relieved that I can stop this now. PSA: REMOVE LIGHTNING FROM THE GAME NINTENDO, ITS HORRIBLE FOR LITERALLY EVERYONE

45. Demon Slayer The Movie: Infinity Castle I (2025) + It's Demon Slayer. It's Ufotable. Of course the animation is insane. + ZENITSU VS KAIGAKU HOLYYYY + TANJIRO AND GIYU VS AKAZA HOLYYYY - The films being episodic is needed for a long arc like Infinity Castle. So why not just make it a season?

Mission plan for today. Finish Theodora's path. Only got 3 chapters to do, this is very doable. Should hopefully be starting Dietrich's route by the end of the day 😁😁

Hey Ven how many blue cards can you land quickly in one PvP match? Yes.

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

9 games that made me...well, me! There's probably another 4-5 games that coulda made it here but still. These are stupid important to me for various reasons.

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Y'all have no idea how therapeutic this is for me right now. Sure, I've still got three other stories and whatever lies beyond to do, but I genuinely am just happy to be loving this game. After so much worry in the past year that we'd have a Three Houses 2.0 with me, I'm so happy with this game. ☺️

Happy Release Day for both Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave and Trails in the Sky Second Chapter! 🥳 Will be focusing on Fortune's Weave for today but will absolutely try and get to Trails soon! Also this probably goes without saying but I'm muting both games to avoid spoilers 😁

So me and a close friend are doing weekly game nights for The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles as neither of us have played it and it's actually the only game in the AA series they haven't experienced. As such, can I say, Susato Mikotaba, I adore you, you are amazing

140

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Literally. I'll give the trailer guy credit cos he's clearly a KH fan with the amount of references they snuck in. But in-game, these just make me sad. ALSO "NO HEART"?! I UNDERSTOOD THAT REFERENCE

010

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I say this as one of the Kingdom Hearts fans of all time This shit is awful

Just wanna add to this in case people do want a source. (Shoulda started with that Ven, well done) Here's a some images that Level-5 uses to describe their usage of AI in game development. For a more in depth description, see the article below. decasimcentral.wordpress.com/2023/12/12/l...

Gonna switch my pfp to Shimmer until we figure out what's going on with GX Tag Force. I want that to be a false positive to do with the devs not doing anything with Steam before, and using an older translation tool, but it's too early since reveal to tell. Until then, Shimmer :3

Still thinking about Yuto from Arc-V... They did him so dirty by giving him 3 duels across 30 episodes before killing him off 😭 I love Arc-V, but if there's anything I'd change, I'd give Yuto a lot more time to be in the main story.

Gotcha. I'll keep an eye out myself cos I wanna play it safe. This seems like a legitimate recomp and a well made one at that, I've just never gotten that ping for other recomps I've downloaded, like Zelda64, or Sonic Unleashed. Here's what my Windows Defender alerted me to.

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

44. Duskfade (2026) + A brilliant blend of games from the PS2 era, mainly Kingdom Hearts and Ratchet & Clank + A gorgeous world and breathtaking visuals + The writing, while generic in some places, was really well done, funny and heartwarming - Most of the bosses were pretty meh, not that memorable

100

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

43. The Sheep Detectives (2026) + The comedic elements of this comedy didn't try to be in your face, more focusing on just being nice and charming + The murder mystery, while predictable for the most part, was enticing + The ending was so wholesome 😭 - Kinda wish they expanded the winter lamb plot.

100

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

For anyone curious, the games featured here are 2026's Duskfade, 2025's Constance and Hades II, and finally 2023's Sea of Stars.

020

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Shoutout to Indie games for showing me some of the most beautiful sights I've seen in recent years

160

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

I just checked and this is even crazier than it may seem. In global top sellers, it is ranked 5th. That's lower sure, but 3/5 of the Top 5 are Free to Play titles. Counter Strike, Apex Legends & Dota 2. The only paid game that KH is losing to is Mortal Shell 2. THE KH AGENDA IS GOING STRONG FOLKS

0151

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

42. Constance (2025) + THE ARTSTYLE IS GORGEOUS OH MY LORD + The gameplay was satisfying and fun to mess around with + Theming the game around mental health was executed extremely well - Very specific instances of gameplay became frustrating, such as certain enemies and the Paint Dive ability

100

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

You guys are gonna get so sick of me buzzing with excitement but listen, I have been building hype for Kingdom Hearts IV for 4 years now and we got hit with 2 new trailers and an extended version of one of those trailers in one Summer, and all of them had me giddy. I CANNOT WAIT FOR KH4 NEXT YEAR!

150

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

This has gotta be the most modern Final Fantasy shot of Sora we've ever seen and I am not complaining, that extended trailer was awesome

090

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

So from what I've spied in the replies, this game is apparently like The Witcher 3, Final Fantasy XIV, Bully, Fallout 4, GTA The Trilogy and Big Walk on behalf of my own Steam. My this game must have QUITE the variety

010

DecodeVen @decodeven.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Yep, don't see any resemblances here, nope not at all. Sora? Who's that? Okay but seriously, I am loving Duskfade so far 😁

41. Black Clover I (Episode 1 - 51) I'm breaking my normal format for this mainly because it's long. Just wanna log it for now. Finished what Netflix calls "Black Clover I" and I'm still absolutely loving Black Clover. Will give a proper post when I'm caught up. Onto the Witches Forest Arc Next.
