Picking this project back up: it's a 2d #pixelart style Invaders + Tower Defense game. The original game was written in C++ and #allegro around 2006 by someone else. My version is implemented from scratch in #ziglang 0.16.0 and #raylib 6.0. github.com/deckarep/Cos...

The image is a screenshot from the game which is a pixel-art style game with green and red invaders in the sky attacking ground weapon stations. Various projectiles and smoke plumes are seen in the action.

Damn, I installed Transmission on MacOS and that thing was barely able to chew through 5 megabytes of data after running it for 30 minutes. Downloaded github.com/cenkalti/rain and that thing downloaded 6gigs in a matter of 8 minutes. Another win for software built-in in #golang.
