worth it
A trace-over / semi-faithful rendition of that one guy from the 7 Grand Dad bootleg video game

The figure, along with a floating star containing Fred Flinstone, are in a blue background, with stars angled towards the left.

The “grand dad” has a red hat and shirt, and they have salmon-colored overalls with white, square buttons.
Their stand-out features include their bloodshot eyes with blue irises, blue facial AND head hair, a blue mouth with maroon teeth and tongue, and the cap emblem that looks like three stacked lines with a skewer right down the middle.

And here we are Almost a fortnight (or a month) passed, and I got this to show for it What started out as stupid inspiration quickly spiraled into an honestly fun creative project Though, the “DTIYS” part of it doesn’t FULLY apply here …or /does/ it? (transparency goofed up, it’s all-white now)
A square-shaped spritesheet featuring Fox Popvil’s character, Konoka.
She looks rather different than her original form here, mainly due to being created in the style of Super Mario Bros.

- - -

At the top strip, there’s an assortment of poses that Konoka is doing, both regular-sized and small. These showcase a portion of the sprites in way more than three colors.
Konoka is seen standing idly, throwing, in a death pose, skidding across the ground, crouching, and dashing forwards with a trail of rainbow afterimages.

The spritesheet itself is below this. It has all the poses that Mario and Luigi can do in Super Mario Bros: Idling, moving, jumping, skidding, dying, swimming, and throwing a fireball. Additional poses for small-crouching, super-dying, facing forwards, and posing were taken as inspiration from SMM2 and Super Mario Bros. Remastered.
There’s also constructed sets of poses for growing & shrinking— represented here as an apple and a piece of tofu.
(also, there’s poses for all the different fireball-throw configurations: running, skidding, jumping, and swimming.)

Flavor text for this area reads:
“Konoka”
“…but in the style of Super Mario Bros. for some reason”

- - -

At the bottom, small Konokas display alternate flashing palettes for when a Fire Flower or Star is grabbed. (a sake bottle and pencil respectively) They are rainbow-colored.
The bottom left shows fade-out color transitions when going into the end-level castle. The glyph indicating this is a mini-renditiion of that scene, complete with a flagpole and little guy.

The bottom right shows an illustrative scene of Konoka (not-small) jumping up to bash a ? Block. It looks like a bag with an 11 printed on it. To the right, a dark blue shell is zooming to the right after being kicked, taking out aa Goomba and two Koopas. (green and red)
Score text that’s above each KO’d critter reads “Good,” “Great,” and “Super” respectively.

Took almost a month But they’re ready to be launched out into the world youtu.be/IYDwHD9p_qQ?...
Tiny pixel art of the ending castle from Super Mario Bros.
All the major details of the original are here: Square holes, curved entryway, and tan highlights at the tops of the bricks

They have been brewing …really, for some time (the rightmost Kon had a palette of Maroon-Pink and Cherry Blossom, but i decided to choose Plain Ol’ Purple instead) (why?) (…color-blindness) (it’s not NECESSARY to put this much effort into what’s essentially fanart+) (but fire’s distinguishable)

(oh my goa it made a rabbit jump out)
An image depicting pixel art, though with the dark grayish-blue that Bluesky (Night) used as a faux-transparent backdrop.

- - -

Against a bolted block resembling the one found on Super Mario Bros. title screen…
There’s two pixellated Konokas. Just standing there. Non-menacingly.
Both have the same pose as Super Mario did in that game: Sorta-symmetrical body, with the head facing straight towards the right or left.

The text at the bottom, styled after SMB’s system font, reads:
“…THIS /FEELS/ WRONG.”
(the slashes represent cream-colored text instead of pure-white)

- - -

The leftward one has three colors used, while the right one has five colors used.
(those hues were ripped from Super Mario Maker 2 and from the originally created artwork respectively.)

It’s either:
• Tangerine Orange
• Creamy Tan
• Pretty Sure This is Pure White

Or:
• Kind of Off-White
• Velvet Red
• Maroon
• Dark Red Tree Bark
• Mustard Yellow

I, uhhhh …felt a chord struck somewhere As marvelous as admiring other people’s interpretations are (not to mention the original’s banger appearance) I wanted to throw my hat into the ring Granted, it’s a bit tattered… But it flies decent
Pixel art of Fox Popvil’s white fox character, Konoka.
She’s against a striped grey background with four colored circles. Also, she has a slight orange aura around her.

Konoka has red accents on her cheeks, as eyeshadow, and on the tips of her ears & her tail. She’s also wearing arm wraps, boots, a waist cloth, and big bells. Two are fastened at her ears, and one is tied at the middle of her tail. (she also has hair fluff)

She’s seen with her left arm outward, and her right one behind her back.

It’s a tree …or at least something SHAPED like one I don’t know why it was trending on some part of the internet, nor do I know why it’s being depicted in different mediums Nevertheless, THAT was surprisingly coincidental To have been met with a suspiciously relevant discovery …while waiting
A level screenshot made using the Share feature on Flow Free: Hexes.

It shows five pairs of dots, each colored in red, maroon, hot pink, lavender, taro, and purple.
The level layout is in the shape of a tree. Three pockets encapsulating some dots represent the fruit.

…Oh yeah the location for this is in:

Literally just cake …Vaguely remember stacking two mini-box cakes on top of each other Finishing it off with a sliced strawberry, at the top Vanilla feels nice youtu.be/GMuN8Rj7yc4?...
A pixel art showing a kitsune / fox spirit holding up an equally pixelated cake.

The background is an off-white with faded yellow stripes. There’s also a slight vignette, drawing attention to the subjects at the center.

The fox is seen with awe, as shown by their mouth agape.
The cake above them is made of layers of cream-colored, well, cake. The tops of these layers have frosting carpeted on them, with the bottom-to-top having pink, wine red, and maroon colors.
At the very top, a pair of number candles rests on an aluminum plate. The candles, emitting light sparkles, read out “21” together.

Somehow, it returned One week past from #makeaterriblecomicday …JUST to make something for the heck of it Reason? Beats me But it exists now, and it does the job (being associated with the furry community and being “good at art” are not always mutually exclusive) (…doodling’s still fun, tho)
A “terrible” comic scribbled and scrawled onto two pages of a book. It shows a multi-tailed fox trying to grapple with the weight of everyday activities.

- - [ The Left Page ] - -

→ They are a person, bowing to the audience.

“It isn’t the right day for this.”
“…And yet”
“I still wanted to participate in it.”

→ By the third line, the person is poofed & transformed into a kitsune / fox spirit. Left arm is upwards, highlighting their declaration.

— —

“There’s not a lot you can do in 18 hours.”
“…Assuming you’re both awake AND aware.”

→ Fox is seen scrambling amidst some symbols, checkboxes, and a pencil. A version of them is seen on a ladder, trying to reach up.

— —

“It’s natural to be frustrated.”
“It’s tempting to sand some corners.”
“…It’s also REALLY counterproductive to keep LOOKING for answers.”

→ Fox is seen screaming in agony, then at a laptop, with the screen showing a search bar. (it has “sodium chloride form” on it)
→ Finally, Fox is scrunched up in a mass of darkness. Fox mutters to themself, “oh golly what a predicament.”

- - [ The Right Page ] - -

“In spite of all this, though…”
“I still wanted to do something.”
“…to at least SHOW that effort in a tangible form.”

→ A hand is seen trembling. Then, it lunges forward to grab a stylus-like object.
→ What follow is a scene of Fox grabbing onto a vertical bar while writing the stylus against a sheet of paper. Fox is seen in distress while doing this.

— —

“It still surprises me how these scraps manage to survive.”
“Emotions, recreation, de-cycling, education…”
“…All that just to keep moving forwards.”

→ Fox is seen admiring the paper. Their eyes glisten a bit, and four of their tails are visible.
→ Fox has both their paws at their hips, and the paper, now seen as a symbol block, gets added to a row of them.
→ Fox is seen bolting to the right— while looking like a bathroom pictogram. Checkboxes fly past them, including a “good enough.” “You’re doing great” shields the dashing vulpine.

In some aspect, it was worth it Getting to experience some of the 3DS library— while also dipping my beans into curious curry (homebrew and custom .cia apps, basically) YT algo, for some reason, brought up the Suika Game 3DS port Physics & dual screen-wrapping are a bit jank, but it’s enjoyable
A collage of photos taken from an unmodded, then modded black Nintendo 3DS. Out of the photos, the ones at the top show a faded red heart sticker at the top left of the console’s upper portion.

Oh yeah, bullet points show images from left to right

- - -

At the top, two images of a left hand holding the 3DS are shown.
The backgrounds of these are heavily blurred out, but the game footage is visible. Both show the ending sequence of Kirby: Triple Deluxe’s True Arena gamemode.
• There’s a blue-ish flower petal against a bright sunset on the Top Screen, while the Touch Screen shows the UI for the mode: a completion timer, and virtual buttons for pausing and ejecting Kirby’s ability
• The right shows the results screen. Kirby holds up a gold trophy while the screen congratulates them with a “Victory!” message. Time shown is 28:09.75, and previous attempts show “6” and “7 to go,” indicating the bosses beaten before a wipeout.

- - -

The middle shows four images, all from the time after the 3DS was modded.
• Captured footage of the Universal Updater, and the Apotris app. Someone ported this block-stacking tetromino delight to the 3DS— probably recently!
• Footage from Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s inside story is shown, too. The first image shows Mario and Luigi in the middle of fighting two Spike Blops. Starlow sternly explains to them that “jumping on them would be really bad.”
• There’s also a photo of Bowser at Plack Beach, right before fighting the first boss of the game. A thumb is placed over the screen in reference to an in-meme; “It is I who nuts to that”
• It’s just the text, “New Super Mario Bros. 2” against a white background.

- - -

The bottom shows some of Newer Super Mario Bros. DS, a fan-made ROM Hack— and a companion to the cult-hit, Newer Wii.
• A black screen with nothing more than a green bar up top, save for the game icon and names / credits.
• The title screen of Newer DS. Mario and Luigi are seen walking endlessly in an autumn environment.Footage of the 3DS in some sort of file management menu. It seems to access some customs ROMS loaded in…

• A black screen with nothing more than a green bar up top. The aforementioned bar displays file information, the date and time, and the 3DS battery— in four juice pips.

The game icon shows a winking cartoon watermelon, and the game’s name data displays:
“Suika Game 3DS”
“3DSuika”
“wirelune”

The last quotation message is probably the person who made this unofficial port.

…I’m glad I did Not the /first/ time an unhealthy habit like this kicked in At least it was for an ultimately succinct cause I’m sure the attached link has something to do with the letters T, A, D, and C Something like “Different, but similar” “Isolated, together” …in a less corny way than usual
Part of the Bluesky settings page, seen on a mobile device. The part that’s cropped in shows a slice of the Moderation section.

What’s shown here are two Muted Words that have had their timers expired. Perhaps they were implemented to avoid spoilers— ahead of a certain indie movie…

The screen shows:
• “Your muted words”
• Both “theamazingdigitalcircus” and “tadc” being muted in text & tags
• Their status being “Expired”

Lots of critters And lots of time hot-swapping between them— at some point in the past Refraction is when something wavy changes its direction when it passes through a medium …I think Rainbows are created like that
A dark scene with several pixellated creatures arranged in an arch. In the middle, a one-bit rendition of a multi-tailed fox spirit stands. They are looking upwards at the little guys.

Each of the pixel creatures are illuminated with a faint ray of colored light. From left to right, they beams are colored in:
Minty Green, Sky Blue, Porpol, (purple) Red, Pink, Orange, and Yellow.

Additionally, each of the creatures are of a unique species. They are also seen in unique poses. From left to right:

• An eastern dragon getting bonked in the snoot by a falling block.
• A hyena in (supposedly) bathrobes holding a cup of hot liquid.
• An anubian jackal staring off into the distance.
• A lion jumping. Their right fist is out as the face the front.
• A bat preparing for landing. Their wings and legs are put to ensure no bones are broken.
• A raccoon peering off into the distance. They are holding a flashlight/ torch in their floating right hand.
• A manticore about to walk off the scene. They’re complete with wings, a set of horns, and a scorpion’s tail.

A page-edit of the Roblox home menu, with a popup box floating in a black void. Text within it was lightly altered.

The words, “age check,” are highlighted in dark orange. The UI box below has also been changed to be, well, orange.

The text reads:

“Access to popular games is changing in a few weeks.”
“Complete an age check now to unlock more games and chat.”

A scene captured and edited from a Roblox game, Adventure Builder 2.
AB2 lets players create and share levels using tiles and objects placed on a grid.

Against a cloudy sky backdrop, a kitsune / fox spirit is running along a set of colorful bolted blocks. (in blue, red, and yellow) A few brown brick blocks are close to them— at ground level.
Two zombie enemies patrol the area. One has a scraggly hairdo with a jacket and jeans, and the other has a black cap with all-black corporate attire.

Above the image, two pieces of text can be seen. The top left displays “World 🍄 - 1,” and the top right has a recreated logo for New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Reheated, re-tooled …Respite? It was #Ōkami 's 20th Anniversary (roughly, in Japan) Sort of the same deal as last time— #Amaterasu in a variety of poses just because it was fun to /create/ something There's still limitations present… But it was still fun remixing a lil' bit of the past (+ Issun!)
Three figures stare upwards at a series of brightly lit panels, each displaying Amaterasu, the wolf tail-brush goddess, in a variety of expressions and poses. One even has Issun, a bug-like wood sprite, created in reference to a rough approximation to Yoshi's Island's Baby Mario.
(also, Amaterasu is seen equipped with a jade-colored disc with a ring of fire behind her back. this is called a Reflector, i think)

---- ---- ----

Down at the bottom, the three figures have their backs towards the viewer. They're an anthro lion, a wolf, (based on the character from KarmaZoo) and a kitsune / fox spirit. Six stars faintly shine near the edges of the image.

At the top, a series of beige-colored panels are lot with a spotlight overhead. All eight of them also cast a glowing drop-shadow towards the bottom-right.

Going clockwise, starting from the middle, these panels display:
• Amaterasu howling upwards. There's a bloomed Guardian Sapling behind her, and a stylized red sun is seen at the top right of the panel.
• Amaterasu sitting with a stern expression on her face
• Ammy looking up, with Issun presumably hopping up and down at her snout
• Ammy looking with glee with closed eyes. Green "OK" text floats above her head.

• Ammy scurrying while letting out beads of sweat. As she runs, she produces yellow flower-plant things in her trail. Issun is hanging by her tail, feeling distressed as Ammy jogs along.
• Ammy sleeping, with a snot bubble and three-ish Z's to signify he drowsiness. She appears to be loafed like a cat.
• Ammy alert and tense. She barks angrily, shown with her furrowed eyes, open mouth, and yellow lines going out from said mouth.

Aaand here’s the last of the progress images All smooshed together to (trivially) save space
A blocky kitsune / fox spirit is seen jumping with their left fist out to punch the air above. They are seen smiling while wearing a black overshirt, a red T-shirt, and jeans with shoes. They also wear glasses. The pose they’re making also seems reminiscent of a certain plumber’s leaping feats…

Below that, a small image of the same kitsune is seen with a shocked expression, putting their arms and legs out to accentuate their surprise. Only their waist-down and head regions are colored here— everything else has placeholder faces.

Dead-simple Kinda of a delight …Damn It started with curiosity, then it stopped without it Sleepless nights were spent jumpstarting & chipping away at a deceptively enticing task: Creating SOMETHING …All that to say, yeah— pretty enjoyable process Optimizing textures, dreaming of future addons…
Four blocky 3D figures are positioned within a white void. The void background has a small grid overlaid on it, the color of which is a slight grey.
(it should be noted that the figures are trying to depict a cartoon-like five-tailed kitsune / fox spirit)

Each of the four 3D figures are in a T-pose while they face towards the right side of the screen. Notably, the fourth figure (rightmost one) appears bigger than the rest.
Each figure received minor changes from left to right, either cosmetic or for convenience…

— — — — —

Version 1:
The waist and downwards have textures consisting of red, yellow, green, blue, black, and white. Each of these colors correspond to a direction in 3D space along an axis. The remaining parts have a colored texture wrapped around them, marking each limb with a specific hue.

Version 2:
All of the model is textured appropriately, and the cheek fluff looks to be directly modeled into the head as opposed to being separate parts. Cheek parts are in bright pink here.

Version 3:
Textures for the ears look to be out of whack, with red, yellow, and green showing against splotches of transparency. Cheek fluff segments have been made larger/taller compared to last time, and a plane-model for I-eyes was created.

(a plane-model here refers to one or more 2D planes in 3D space bound together. probably useful for displaying 2D images.)

Version 4:
Ears have now been glazed in a pink bismuth-like coating, and they have hot-pink markings to indicate where each section wraps when looking at the texture head-on. There’s also a dedicated plane-model for displaying the figure’s maw.
…Also they have a snoot.
(not baked into the maw plane-model)

Then again, it’s not like a wholly different medium can bring that same satisfaction Social banter and tomfoolery get replaced by a glaring skill issue in this “cozy battle royale” It /could/ lead to something, if I somehow “get good…” …But would it be enough to satiate that flicker of dim light?
An in-game screenshot of Super Animal Royale, with footage captured using the game’s photo booth.

A orange and white fox and a borzoi are seen falling towards the ground of a forest. (they’re referred to as Super Fox and Super Borzoi respectively)

The fox is seen wearing a hat modeled after their own head, and the borzoi has some lunar new year garb on, along with a red flower donned near their ears. Both Super Animals have a somewhat surprised expression on their faces.

The scene is also framed with a faux-picture frame, all pixelated. A golden plaque at the bottom of the frame reads:

An in-game screenshot of a Roblox game, A Block’s Journey. As of the time of this post, it is a recently released 3D platformer, borrowing aspects from A Hat in Time and Super Mario Odyssey.

The screenshot here was captured after I discovered the freecam feature.
An anthropomorphic fox spirit stands in a spacey and starry void. A purplish-pink lamppost is near them too, possibly to act as this game’s checkpoints.
The fox spirit stands sternly, with no emotion in their eyes. They’re wearing a red vest, white shirt, black pants, a fedora with multicolored feathers, and a strap-on muzzle.

There’s also a search field box above them. Since age verification wasn’t done, chat functionality is disabled— leaving this alternative left. That text box reads:
“back at it again, huh? why so soon??|”

they’re REAL …This was kind of fun Don’t know /how,/ but the good solid two days of creating and sticking stuff piece-by-piece felt good It just so happens that today’s date is also (roughly) the first anniversary of the show releasing …These two events coexisting was /purely/ coincidental
Two close-ups of physical pixel art. Both images feature a stylized version of Belfort & Lupin’s heads— their origin is from the eponymously titled show.

Cut-up index cards were glued together to fake depth, and the majority of the segments were colored using pencils, pens, and markers.
From the angle shown, these body segments cast a small shadow. Parts featured for both Belfort and Lupin are their eyes, eyebrows, and snouts. Moreover, Belfort (left) has his floppy ears, while Lupin (right) has messy hair and a segment of light fur that extends downwards.

(it should also be noted that Lupin has a wide paper segment of light purple around his eyes— something that was absent in the digital pixel art rendition of these doggos)

A jolt of creativity has been put to good use Yes, this is fanart of that one gay(?) dog show with passion in its veins The art’s fantastic, music pretty great …And I’m afraid that passion’s gonna go out like a pan flash So, I did a thing— a sort of hands-off thing I’m happy with how it looks
Belfort and Lupin fan art (which also is pixel art to some extent)
The scene displays the eponymously named duo in different positions. All the figures are suspended in a cream-colored background, which has a set of blurred lines to for viewing convenience.

Belfort is a white and yellow colored royal spaniel with a red leash. Said leash has a gold flower-like icon dangling from it.
Lupin is a purple-ish wolf. His fur is more disheveled compared to Belfort’s, and he’s also a deep companion to him.

Towards the top, Belfort and Lupin are seen sitting together, facing right. Both styles have either or in front of the other.
The bottom shows Belfort and Lupin facing towards a pixellated version of the show’s logo— complete with red and gold coloring and staggered letters. Both doggos are seen with glee in their eyes.

At the top, there's text for Home at the left, and there's a user icon and a username to the right. The user icon depicts a red-accented kitsune/fox spirit wearing a red fedora, glasses, and a red vest with white overshirt. Their gaze is stern. Their username reads, "Decah"

Below that, two notification boxes exist with some words highlighted in orange— this is something NOT seen in the original versions of these. ( for convenience, this orange text will be enclosed in {braces.} )

- The leftmost one prompts the user to [ ⏲ Take action now ]. It reads: "You'll soon need an {age check} to chat. It only takes a moment." The left text box's selection option are Continue, and View Details.
- The rightmost one nudges the user towards age verification, prompting: [ Let's {check your age} so you can use chat. ] The rest of the text reads: "This helps you chat safely. It only takes a moment. The right text box has only one selection option, that being Unlock Chat.

At the bottom, a blurred-out scene displays a section of in-game footage. The background has been heavily blurred, and all that remains are the system icons (Roblox/Escape Menu, Hamburger Menu, Chat, and Unlock Voice Chat) and the chat box itself. Inside, only some text and a wide, blue button prompting the user to [Unlock Chat] are present.
No message bar.
No Send button.

The accompanying text reads: "You can only view system messages here. Get an age check to chat. At the center of the chat box, big text in a Super Mario font are askew. It reads: "no, {go eat a rock}"

(in-game footage was taken from the save selection menu in Retail Tycoon 2.)

Low effort, but the thought counts— at least
A screenshot from the mobile game, Daily Dadish. The eponymous named Dadish is in a snowy area; its area name is “Feathery Peak.”

Dadish is seen at the end of the daily level with one of his radish children. The little guy is orange, and they are wearing a little santa hat.
A text box is also seen at the top of the screen, with a character portrait of Dadish at the left. The text reads:
“Yep, the best gift of all! I get to spend time with my family! My stupid, stupid family.”

Miscellaneous features in the game environment include:
• A few pine trees scattered about, including one decorated with a star and baubles…
• Mountains in the background of a sky in between sunset and night…
• Some icicles hanging at the top of the screen…
• And a speedrun timer in baby blue. The timer reads: “00.37.77”

…The game slaps— wholeheartedly Painting the world, either to color it in or get around places The protag’s actual name is Pizza …maybe (that’s NOT what they’re named here, though— as evidenced by the image)
A screenshot from the game, Chicory: A Colorful Tale.

——

An in-game painting is shown against a white background. Framed with a thick black border, its contents show a depiction of the player character, a dog, looking surprised.

The white-furred dog is wearing a hot-pink plaid and collared shirt, and they have a five-petal blue flower adorned atop their head. Inside the fourth petal, going clockwise from the top, a Paint Cursor can be seen. It’s small, circular, and is colored a mustard yellow.

Their left arm is posed to touch their gaping mouth, indicating an audible(?) gasp. With their eyebrows raised and three triangular shapes emitting outward, all three elements push the expression of shock forward.

Above the image, there are a set of words spelled out. They’re quite pixellated, and the two rightmost words are highlighted in pink instead of lavender for importance.

The words read:
“It’s Banh Me.”

(bánh mì is a sort of Vietnamese Deli Sandwich. it has pickled vegetables, meat, and sliced cucumbers typically stuffed in its baguette buns.)

(final verdict— no thank you, too steep of a price) (( $40 for one of the BASE games is a tall ask, too— 3D All Stars was a little better in price, especially when it went on sale after “Mario’s Death” )) ((( or, well, emulation ))) ((( that’s an option if the feeling to play is there )))
Stitched together screenshots of both the Youtube video of the September 12, 2025 Nintendo Direct, and snippets of the Nintendo website on a mobile device.

The cover art for the Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 bundle pack is shown at the top. Its chunky quality suggests that a screenshot was taken after the game’s trailer played out.

At the bottom, a big price tag for the game is displayed, with it being:

“$69.99”

The game’s title, eventual release date, and ESRB rating are listed below that. They each read:
“Super Mario Galaxy™ + Super Mario Galaxy™ 2”
“Releases 10/2/2025” (this is October 2nd)
“Rated E for Everyone: Mild Fantasy Violence”

It is mar (yes, i know this particular day is reserved for a pair of SOMETHINGS…) (but it’s also the day where wahs and hoos coexist) (( little lifts upward are cool ))
A digitally drawn picture of Mario’s head from the Super Mario franchise. He’s looking towards the right, eyebrows raised, and with three lines towards the right of him, maybe indicating surprise

Coloring is made to look like crayon/pencil scribbles on a sheet of paper. Color bleeds outside the lines, and the red, tan, and brown strokes look smudged.

Underneath the graphic, there’s pixelated text reminiscent of wye’s Super Mario World styled font. It reads:
“salutations,”
“it is I.”

The “it is I” part has individually colored letters and characters, almost matching the ones seen in the Super Mario logo.
They are, from left to right: Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Green, and Red.

🎂 ← Cake …The cake calls back to older times Don't know WHERE, but it certainly has that feeling Nevertheless, shit compilation! (shit meaning a bountiful pool of resources to reminisce on) (should i tag this in #furryart since it technically falls under that umbrella) (what a conundrum…)
A graphic featuring an assortment of characters huddling around a big emblem. Said emblem features a three-layered tan cake with maroon (top), red (middle), and pink (bottom) frosting on each of its layers.

The cake also has cake toppers in the form of retro-styled sprites.
Top layer features bright red candles in the form of the number 20
Middle layer features small sprites for four lions: Prototype (standing still), SMB (jumping), SMB3 (jumping), and SMW (jumping also)
Bottom layer features a lion, jackal, dragon, and hyena posed to be running to the right.

As for the assortment of characters...
The left side features original artwork, spanning across the birth of the fursona (top left, black mane, blue and brown outfit, wonky proportions) all the way to the many iterations of them. Sketches, reference sheets pulls, line art, pixel art— it's all here.
Also of note: Both the left and right sides feature tiny pixel creatures scattered about. These take the form of the middle cake toppers— though specifically ones without Proto— and sprites of Maize the white cat. There's even a small Amaterasu (Ōkami) one tucked at the bottom right. She looks in glee while green "OK!" text floats above her head.

The right side features a collection of characters from the Roblox MMO video game. It also features some classic artwork (and one original one made just for this graphic!)
Blocky characters include:
- Human with a crown, rainbow glasses, and bacon-like hair
- Anubian jackal
- Fluffy lion
- Green eastern dragon
- Fluffy manticore
- Floofy fox
- Hyena
- Stoic lion
- Stoic manticore
- Godlike white wolf with red markings
- Leucistic raccoon
- White bat
The drawings included blue and red rough sketches of a "chill lion thing," A headshot looking to the left, and the original drawing.
The original can be seen looking upwards with their keft hard shielding their eyes. They are smiling for what's to come.

oh yeah there's six colorful stick figures too at the bottom

[ This continues the ALT Text from the video. In case you were wondering what the attached image was:]
[ Three anthropomorphic lions with floating limbs all looking to be running to the right. Were these supposed to be animation frames?]

↓ ↓ ↓
• A chubby— and somewhat chibi— lion wearing a dark wafer-colored vest and maroon shorts. All of their limbs are floaty, too. Their running is stylized after Super Mario World’s two frame walk cycle. They have three, though; one frame is used for in-betweening.

• A tall lion wearing glasses and two light red arm bands. They’re drawn with only outlines and floating appendages— save for the tail. The choppiness of their run cycle is reminiscent of modern Paper Mario, where the player character romps around with only two frames of animation. (this lion has got three, though.)

#makeaterriblecomicday2025 i am running off of committment and the urge of completion here’s Maize They look vaguely similar to another internet cat… Best not to look into that further, I think
A six panel comic featuring a pixellated cat in several amusing poses. The comic has two faux pages, and is intended to be read from top to bottom, left to right.

◇

1/6 - Left Top
“This is Maize.”
A wide panel introducing Maize the white anthropomorphic cat. They run towards the left side, arms out, before skidding to a halt and greeting the reader with a thumbs up. Their cheerful face radiates against a eight-pointed star backdrop.

2/6 - Left Middle
“Maize is a cat.”
Several sprites of Maize appear in this wide panel. The center has a front facing Maize meowing (“mrrow”) at the reader.

From left to right, Maize at a standstill, angrily kicking, in a slope-sliding position, swimming underwater, chain-fence grabbing (this is the one meowing), standstill but mid-blink, jumping, crouching with an arm out, gauging the safety of a potential held item, and Maize looking upwards.

3/6 - Left Bottom
“They’re also a chonky boi.”
Two enlarged sprites of Maize are in this panel. The left side shows a small Maize— the one seen throughout the left page. The right side shows a bigger Maize.

4/6 - Right Top
“A VERY.”
The small and big Maizes are now turned towards the reader.

5/6 - Right Middle
“Chonky.”
The two Maizes are now squished to absurd proportions, having their eyes enlarged and their body— and other limbs— shrunken. The two look similar to old-school RPG characters.

6/6 - Right Bottom
“B o i .”
The Maizes are now squashed horizontally, with each having similarly squashed pink hearts coming out of them.

◆

The very bottom of the right page shows both small and big Maizes giving a thumbs up and showing a big, joyous smile. They’re both huddled around hot-pink text that reads:
“Look, ma!”
“No microplastics!”

Some custom cover art for a Gameboy Advance game. It displays graphics for a game called “Panelix.”
The very bottom features a strip of the Gameboy Advance box art, recreated with the “ONLY FOR” taro purple diamond at the top-right corner, the curves at the bottom edges, and the scratchy left-to-right gradient from grey to white

For the cover art, the graphics sit on a dark background, with it having a gradient of faint blue, (top) to purplish black, (majority of middle) and to lighter-purplish black (bottom)
The graphics themselves consist of the title text, five colored blocks, a white line, the blocks’ reflections, and the creation credits for the game.

Title text shows pixelated words, spelling out “PANELIX”
The colored blocks float above the white line, with each block sporting a different pattern. From left to right:
- Cyan block with a diamond hole
- Neon green block with a two concentric ring holes
- Red block with a bloated X-shaped hole
- Purple with a big octagonal hole
- Yellow with a diamond hole AND solid square bits at its corner edges

The creation credits feature the text, “KM 2024-2025”

After what unfolded in the Spade Engine postcard… I returned another day and pondered about making a spritesheet based off of #Amaterasu #Ōkami staple and whatnot “One image at a time…” The tone was set, and the message was clear: No rush, Have fun, Work within your own limitations…
An art piece showcasing four enlarged sprites based on Amaterasu’s appearance in the ŌKAMI video game. All four are standing in four quadrants of a thick window cover, almost looking like figurines in stackable plastic boxes. There’s also a cone spotlight beaming downwards in the background.

All sprites show Amaterasu with the Divine Retribution reflector, a jade-colored reflective plate with a ring of fire around its edge.
The four big sprites show:

• Top left, Ammy is seen sleeping. Her position is that of a cat when it loafs, or the pose of an Egyptian sphinx. There’s both sleeping Z’s floating above her head and a snor bubble to indicate dowsiness.

•Top right, Ammy is seen looking upwards, her head tiled at a 45° angle. Issun is also seen hopping upwards, though they look like a plus sign in this rendition.

• Bottom left, Ammy is seen upright and in a sitting pose. Her front and hind paws are at the ready for when she has to move.

• Bottom right, Ammy is seen barking. Her front paws are stretched forward and her hind legs have gone back, implying sternness in her stance. Angry eyes, a (somewhat) visible maw, and three yellow speech-action lines help give the feeling that Amaterasu is giving a bark with intent.

◇

Three little characters stand beneath the four sprites, looking as if they’re in a gutter portion of a theatre stage

They consist of:
○ An anthro lion who has tan and leucistic fur. They give a wink and a “hello” wave (with a star) towards the viewer. Their left foot is also raised to show their tenderness.
○ A ripped sprite of the Wolf character from the KarmaZoo video game. They’re facing left, looking unperturbed.
○ A trace-over of a crouching Amaterasu from Anaugi’s set of Rockman 7 sprites.

Notably, their rendition of Ammy is made to fit within the confines of the Nintendo Entertainment System. The sprite also takes heavy inspiration on how Rush Coil looks— Mega Man’s assist dog.

A postcard depicting a scene from Super Mario World, but it has a bunch of characters on screen at once. Each characters also has a semi-transparent name tag under them.

There are three brick blocks towards the bottom left of the scene. Their appearance is similar to ones found in Super Mario All Stars’ SMB3.
The background is also ripped from Donut Plains, complete with the tan sky and big, lush, green mountains in the background.

The text at the bottom of the postcard reads:
“Greetings from: SPADE ENGINE”

◇

As for the characters on-screen, the menagerie include:
- Sonic from the Sega Master System
- A scruffy looking Sonic with black sclera and red irises
- Sonic but ball

- A custom-made Yoshi flutter jumping
- My Melody from Hello Kitty? (round character with a red bunny hoof atop their head)
- Princess Peach in the style of “Peach’s Adventure,” a SMW ROM Hack by BWGLite

- Saiyan Goku in the middle of a kicking animation
- Normal Goku in the middle of a spinning somersault (currently facing down)
- Some hot-pink, tan, and brown colored guy styled after SMB2 USA’s sprites (Arabian?)

- A custom Chara sprite written for an Undertale alternate universe, “Storyshift” (they have purple skin, a green robe, and a rainbow-colored bandana tied around their neck)
- SMW Mario
- All-Stars Mario, but his eyes are a 2x2 square of pure black instead of the usual white sclera and black iris

- A custom-made Mario doing a fiery forwards spike with his left hand (he is angry)
- A SMB-styled Super Mario looking a bit edgy
- A dummy-thick Mario with pure-white skin and maroon overalls. They have the text “WAHOO” superimposed over their head.

- A pin character from Battle for Dream Island
- Sans Undertale from Undertale
- White balls (2)
- A small flagpole in the style of SMB

★ A small anthro lion with tan fur. They have salmon-red highlights at the top of their mane and cheek fluff. The lion’s also sporting a tan-brown vest, maroon pants, and tan shoes. They’re also small.

Now what could this be for…? (it’s “only for” SOMETHING, that’s for sure)
A screenshot of Procreate with a piece of art at the center of the screen. The view was also rotated 45 degrees counter-clockwise to show it off.

There’s a purplish-blue right triangle, big and prominent
It’s resting on its long side, the hypotenuse(?) The triangle has a dark checkerboard grid pattern at its upper-left side, and Procreate’s grid void at its upper-right side.
Below the triangle is a line, colored in dark and more potent purplish-blue. There’s also a lot of white below that line.

The triangle also has pixellated text written on it. Due to the pixel density, the letters are kind of hard to make out; Each diamond-shaped pixel only offers so much room…

The text roughly reads:
“ONLY”
“FOR”

A heavily cropped screenshot from a search engine. The layout of elements suggests this was taken from a smartphone.

From the top to bottom:

- A search bar containing the words, “Ōkami release date” and a big X and magnifying glass towards the far right
- Search filter things, with options like All, (currently being highlighted) Images, Videos, News, Shopping, and Maps.
- A large beveled box displaying (cropped) information about the search query.

This info box has…
- Ōkami’s original release date on the PlayStation 2 in Japan
- Ōkami HD’s worldwide release date on the Nintendo Switch

The info box’s text reads:
“Ōkami • Release”
“20 April 2006” “Japan PS2” (the latter text is tilted to the right)

“Ōkami HD”
“Nintendo Switch”
“WW: 9 August 2018”

👑 • 🌋🍲 𝄞 ↑ F Min …Kinda sucks having interests dart around every so often Good thing they’re interconnected Otherwise I wouldn’t have linked two (otherworldly) concepts together Getting stuff done? Self-transformation? An egg enraptured in their search for power > peace? …Sure, blend ‘em together
A slightly pixellated art piece. It depicts an anthropomorphic lion looking sternly at a lit-up spot.

The lion and the spotlight-spot are in black space, with faint criss-crossing lines permeating the darkness.
The lion has a grey mane with slight red highlights at their cheeks, the tip of their tail, and at the top of their head. The lion is also drawn with a head the size of its egg-shaped torso, as well as their arms and legs being absent.
…They also have glasses.

The spotlight-spot is to the right of where the lion was looking, with the area highlighted with a light-yellow ellipse. Lines coming in from the left of the screen depict that the light is being projected in space.
It lights up the elliptical portion, revealing some text. The text is also portrayed with thin lines around the letters, making them appear hollow.

The text reads:
“THAT”
     “THING”

The “THING” portion looks to be shaken up a little. It’s also got some neon-like blur around it, likely to draw your eyes towards it first.

Inspiration …While not original, I’m sure the kit-bashing comes from a real, beating heart (gotta wonder if one invests in a diabetic Glaze to deter the sugar-sappers) Also Return to Dream Land for some reason (yippee) …is using #okami or #ōkami here disingenuous? youtu.be/wKpcM35Zmxo?...
An art piece looking similar to some key art from Kirby’s Return to Dream Land.
Like its inspiration, four little guys hang onto a shiny and sparkling, floating star. They’re all up in the sky, with wispy and swirly clouds occupying the space. Also, dot stars rest at the top of the drawing. The sky fades from baby blue to a galactic purple, implying the four of them are high up.

Speaking about the four…
They all are wearing similar outfits— either a fedora with feathers at its back, or a red flannel shirt with glasses. (only two have flannel) Each of them dresses and looks unique.

□ At the top right, an anthro lion grabs at the top of the star and waves hello with their left paw. They’re looking confidently at the viewer while also hanging on tight.

□ At the bottom right, an anthro jackal peers out into the distance. They’re hunched in a stance best suited for hanging at the bottom leg of the star. While looking towards the right, their left arm is used to shade their head, with their left paw resting on their head.
…Also their markings make them look similar to the Egyptian god, Anubis.

□ At the bottom left, a manticore T-poses while standing in a playful manner. Their legs are tilted outward and their head is askew to accomplish this effect. The manticore is also seen wearing a grey tank top, with its graphic showing a glass of liquid with the caption, “HALF FULL”.

□ At the top left, an anthro white wolf waves to the viewer, though they look more relaxed compared to the lion.
The wolf is wearing a while kimono with red accents, a white fedora with a red trim. Presumably, white feathers are attached at the back of the hat as opposed to multicolored ones.
The wolf also looks very similar to Amaterasu, the wolf goddess from the Ōkami video game. Red face markings, a flamed back, (with a green reflector shield?) and a black-tipped tail…

All four also have outlines around them. Salmon red, purple, dark blue, and green, respectively.

Artwork from e621’s / e926’s FurID verification system. It asks you to draw your fursona with a rudimentary, yet robust, set of drawing tools. The artwork then gets sent to some verification place…

The art depicts a scene from Super Mario World, with Mario looking as if he cleared a course!

The top HUD shows Mario’s lives, (M×3) Bonus Star Points, (★×10) an Item Reserve Box, (holding a Super Mushroom) Time remaining, (261) Coins, (○×7) and Score (1,600)

The middle of the image shows more text correlating to how Mario did when clearing the course. It reads:
“MARIO COURSE CLEAR!”
“🕒 261 × 50 = 13050”
“BONUS! ★×41”

At the very bottom-center of the image, Mario is seen walking to the right. The whites in his eyes are now black due to the color limitations of e621’s mini drawing software.
(white was used for his skin and gloves, and a strip of orange highlights the top of his nose.)

The picture displays a crude representation of an anthropomorphic lion; Only the head is shown. They are wearing blue glasses and have a red fur accent at the top of their mane. They also look surprised, with their eyebrows being raised up and three yellow lines going out, suggesting emotion.

The text, “Here they are” can be seen at the bottom of the picture.A drawn picture taken from e621’s / e926’s FurID verification system. They ask that you draw a picture of your fursona, and the tools are simple, but robust enough to have fun with.

The picture displays an anthropomorphic lion. Only the head is shown, (once again) but this time the presentation looks more stable, almost as if this rendition was done with a stylus…
They are wearing blue glasses, have red spots on the top of their muzzle, and have a red fur accent at the top of their mane. Additionally, they have a feline mouth giving a little smile to the viewer. No longer are the eyebrows used to indicate surprise— the lion now looks to be delighted. The three yellow lines have been upgraded to two triangles and one line, too.

The text, “Here they are” can still be seen at the bottom of the picture. It’s now smaller, less scrappier, and it’s colored purple instead of black.

A modified screenshot of a Roblox game, average plate gaem. All relevant bits were cookie-cut out of the original screenshot, and are now overlaid on a dark blue checkerboard background.

The top half shows two little screenshot bits. The leftmost bit displays two currency counters for Gems (the high one) and Coins. (the low one) Their values show 808 gems and 80,880 coins respectively. The rightmost bit captures a person attempting an obby. (obstacle course) They are seen jumping across floating green masses of bricks.

The bottom half shows the player character, standing at the supposed base of the obby. Many floating pillars adorn the sides of the obby, and their cone-shaped bottoms can be seen here. Behind the player, there’s also a neon-blue warp door, presumably for traveling in and out of the obby room.

The player character is seen as an anthropomorphic white lion. They are wearing a red fedora with a yellow brim, and six feathers colored in red, yellow, and blue perch at the sides of it. They are also wearing a ref flannel shirt, gray tee shirt, a bell collar, and blue jeans.
…They also have glasses.
