I grew up pre-potter, there are so many brilliant books out there (even with brooms & british accents) & countless others since. It's so lazy to fall back on a singular series of mid books & keep handing them to the next generations because they were well marketed decades ago.

But they just said no. They said it's our choice if we want to wear masks. They've not risk assessed at all. It's horribly exclusionary but then, I've never found the home ed community very welcoming to CV. Near me they're a lot more anti vaxx than anything else.

Passing them strung up on the fence is such a strong childhood (into early adulthood) memory for me. Daring each other to touch their soft little bellies on the walk to school. The mowdy man, such a recognisable figure stalking through the village once a season.

I used to do a weekly basket when they were littler, but strewing works so well for us that I don't do the basket any more. We do have a shelf dedicated to whatever topic we're working on (robin hood and stone age at the minute!) which I'm enjoying.

Oh what a pain! The only time we had a problem submitting is if we went over or under the word limit. Their customer service is really efficient though, if you drop them an email you should get a quick reply.
