As Valentine’s Day is nearly here. As someone who loves love this gets me in the feels. I’m reminded last year I spent it with someone who said they loved me but couldn’t even be bothered to get me a card. Or even mark the day at all. At least this year I don’t have to put up with that bullshit.

So the lurgy has got me. What I thought was Flu has turned out to be laryngitis. So now have antibiotics and signed off work for another 10 days after completely losing my voice. This is not the start to the year I wanted folks.

It’s no secret that 2024 was a shitshow. Frankly, I’m glad to see the back of it. I’m choosing to focus on the amazing love and support I’ve found from the wonderful people I now have in my life. They’ve made such a difference to me and I’ll be forever grateful.
