ALT: Tyler The Creator: So That Was A Fucking Lie

Absolutely incredible. So funny, Boots Riley hits it out of the park once again. Love the leftist messaging from another black leftist. This is going right up there in my favorites maybe of all time

Truly incredible horror where the more you think about the themes and framing you only see even more cool details.

A good premise that ultimately begins to fall apart the longer you exist within it. Anarchy points and anti capitalist messaging should feel right at home given the theming but still feel shoehorned i...

The music is good, the fight choreo is solid but everything else is pretty bad. The story sort of just happens but there's not really great through lines from the a plot to the b plot. The last 20 is ...

A sequel that didn't feel necessary and even still was all just a set up for a third. Perhaps when all is said and done I can look back and evaluate this with the knowledge of how it ends but for now ...

A pretty good movue that's well shot, well acted and well plotted. It doesn't excel at most things but it does pretty good at all of them

Overall pretty good movie. The Giant monster aspect was a little under baked I think. However, the story. The acting and the overall allegorical nature of everything was pretty solid.

Just a great movie from start to finish. What can I say that hasn't already been said a thousand times

Surprisingly funny. There's a ton of jokes per minute but a lot of them kind of hit. It also doesn't over stay it's welcome. The more established bits are interesting, varied and done well.

I'm glad they didn't call it boron because this surely wasn't!

Wow that is a wild and disparate movie from beginning to end. Just wow

A pretty by the numbers cop story. Corruption etc etc. nothing crazy. Just pretty good and solid all around.

I don't usually like car based stunts but I found myself continually impressed throughout. I love the way music integrates into every aspect. It's not just a background piece it's planned and timed th...

If you're fascinated my tornados or storm chasers it's probably pretty good. But I am not really so I found it more dull than not

I was expecting storm chasing gone wrong. And while a bunch of things didn't go well, overall it was just a solid, very linear story. Could've used more in most aspects of the movie.

This movie is made for me. A weird little sci fi flick, that's straightforward but just weird enough. That also speaks to a core reality.

In the wake of the devastating war against the RDA and the loss of their eldest son, Jake Sully and Neytiri face a new threat on Pandora: the Ash People, a violent and power-hungry Na'vi tribe led by ...

Great music great choreography, story holds up pretty well. A pretty fun time all around

I expected this to be incomprehensible slop or a hidden gem, unfortunately it kinda hits neither. There's so pretty good fights and cinematography but the characters are so flat I couldn't even care w...

When the girl of his dreams is kidnapped, everyman Nate turns his inability to feel pain into an unexpected strength in his fight to get her back.

I had seen the sequel before I saw this one. Really nice to see the original now and it still holds up pretty well.

The animation is kind of a combination of the polar express and shrek. The people look just real enough for their stuff robotic movements to be more noticeable. The story was simple. The fight choreo ...
