I’ve decided to change my job title from mathematics teacher to learning facilitator of mathematics. Hopefully this will encourage the students to own their learning a bit more and not expect me to just give them the whole answer.

It’s even started snowing in Australia already! Freaking weather

Just a giant ball of gas intended to kill us all but lulling us into a false sense of security

Sunset at the breakwater in Ballina. Followed by dolphins in the waves at dusk

It does look like the swords at the back of the throne

Did you get much snow? Saw Europe has been hit with a cold snap. Meanwhile down under we are having heatwave conditions - forecast 43 where I am on Saturday 😳

Nah I’m a pumpkin by 9.30! Had dinner with some friends and then popped off to bed. Now driving to in laws for a couple of days - nice and quiet on the road this morning while the rest of the population deals with hang overs

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 28/12/2025

I just don’t understand why it was even invented in the first place? Of all things to smell instead of BO it’s not high on my list

Somedays I’d like that kind of power! Some of the kids I’ve taught I wonder if having that to literally hold over them would improve their behaviour a touch 🤣

Reminds me of the movie A Land Before Time! And I’m with Steve! How much is an important question. A very eclectic group of objects even in just that photo!

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 28/12/2025

Haha that’s my question as well!

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 28/12/2025

This is actually hilarious! So not such a smart man then?

Chose to celebrate my birthday and turning a half century by dragging my family on a 3hr bushwalk through Royal National Park to see eagle rock.

Went to the Nutcracker Ballet with ms20. Beautiful evening

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 25/12/2025

This is really lovely Garry. I like the sentiment a lot

Ham and turkey have been eaten. Christmas cake and icecream. Taken the dog for a walk and now sitting down to watch Home Alone with ms20 who has never seen it. Merry Christmas friends

Yikes 20kg each!!! I struggle with 5kg ones

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 23/12/2025

This also works if you aren’t alone but not enjoying the place or people you are in.

110

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

We loved seeing this when we came over.

110

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

Did they keep digging and that caused the sink hole?

010

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

Yikes! Makes me wonder the impact we are having on the earth and if it’s speeding up these sorts of things

110

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

I would dearly love the news to no longer name the gunmen in bondi and let ASIO and the police do their investigating with no more focus on these people who perpetrated evil in the media.

020

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

It does and I appreciate you sharing it!

010

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

Oh no but Buble is better than some Christmas songs surely!!

110

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

I love the tree in the graveyard - atmosphere indeed but yet not scary, peaceful

010

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

I’m not sure I like the world in its current iteration. Well more likely the version of “humanity” we are seeing. I know that it is always a small group but that small group have such a large impact. Putin, Netanyahu, individuals seeding hatred. I guess I have to focus on the good people 😞

Deborah Hennessy @debhennessy.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

Yes but Garry isn’t all weather shorts weather for you?
