Today’s challenge. Finding somewhere to grow in my hollyhocks grown from seed. I have no idea what colour they are so I have created a nursery to grow them on before I plant them out in my main border. It was jolly hard work and they still need more watering. 🌱

I forgot to Chelsea chop my sedums this year. Nor did I string them together to prevent them flopping. Never mind, they are still putting on a show and the bees have enjoyed them. 🌱

Makes the M25 bridge near Kings Langley (close to junction 21) look puny. This is a view of the Transmontana or A4 motorway in Portugal 🇵🇹.
A modern motorway with a double suspension bridge crosses the River Corgo valley just south of Vila Real in Portugal. In the background are hills and the Planalto of Tras Os Montes. In the foreground you can see typical countryside with steep hills and valleys and a mix of trees and vines.

Amazing what you can cobble together with some imagination and a need to use stuff up. There was half a chouriço, some plum tomatoes, field mushrooms, a bit of Gouda. Also home grown beans, courgettes and herbs, a carrot some onion and garlic and a red pepper.
Roast almond and red pepper stuffed mushroom with Gouda on a bed of quinoa and mostly homegrown vegetables and herbs with a chouriço, red wine and tomato sauce.Making the chouriço sauce, finely chopped Português chouriço with vinho Tinto e alho and onion, carrot, celery and plum tomatoes. Oh, and a healthy amount of red wine 🍷 Home grown courgettes and fine beans being sautéed in a pan with red onion. My finely chopped French beans and red onion on a green chopping board and to the right some finely chopped homegrown parsley.

The Government is letting data centre developers bypass local scrutiny... BUT they don't even know what the data centres are being used for 🤯 It's time to put the brakes on. It's time for a national data centre strategy.
UK government does not know what datacentres are being used for, FoI request shows
